Great workouts but glitchy
Love the workouts and the progressions. If you can’t do a certain amount of reps just do a couple less and if it’s too easy then do a couple more. Starting the workout through the app is glitchy though so I recommend just looking it over while you workout, then start the workout afterwards so you can click through the questions without it glitching. I’m a lifetime subscriber so I really hope you guys make improvements. Also would be nice to go back and look at the workouts that we complete.
I come from a 40year weightlifting background. 56 year old recently retired federal firefighter. Two shoulder surgeries got me thinking. Started doing yoga and calisthenics. Purchased apps/ dvds. I was basically winging it but feeling amazing. Yet I needed structure. I need to know when to increase, when to take it easier, and I want to see and feel improvement. This app has a very minimal learning curve. You will be hooked. I’ve chatted with the helpline and someone responded promptly every time. If you want to feel better, look better, and be able to do things you thought were in the past.....get this app. I only wish I could go back in time and tell my younger self to do this instead of weights. But my younger self would probably just tell this older dude to get out of his face. Lol. The progressions and regressions are the most complete I have ever seen. A lot of written programs tell you to advance to the next exercise. What of you can’t do that yet? This program has sooooo many levels between. Enjoy the journey. I purchased the lifetime program, but I plan to take the app with me even when I’m gone. 😵. Yes, it’s that good. 😉💪🏻
Needs Some Work
Honestly, this app is an amazing idea and I would stick to it 100% if it worked well for me. Unfortunately it is glitchy. Firstly, the video would freeze when I tried to watch a tutorial for one of the exercises, which I didn’t mind because it wasn’t a big deal — most of the other tutorial videos worked.
THEN, I tried to start a workout, and I got to the first strength exercise. After the timer finished counting for the first set, the app froze on DONE. It didn’t count the rest time and didn’t let me move on to the next set or the next exercise, which was frustrating. The only option I had was to exit the workout and save progress or discard it. I can’t progress if the app doesn’t work properly in completing exercises. I just did the workout on my own without pressing start workout.
I don’t know if it is because I have an iPhone 6s and not a later version, but I REALLY hope you guys can fix this and get the success you deserve from it. I really thought this app was the one for me and I was very hyped for it, but it just doesn’t work.
