Description

The MPO MAGNA™ app is a remote patient monitoring application designed to help patients and their physicians monitor their health status before and after joint arthroplasty procedures.

Through the MPO MAGNA™ app, patients will be able to provide information to their doctor, hospital, and their implant medical device manufacturer for treatment and research. During the entire treatment process - before and after the patient’s surgery - the patient’s health evolution can be monitored via the MPO MAGNA™ app and a smart wearable device. Patients can also be in frequent contact with their team of care providers via a built-in message function.

Before surgery, information can be exchanged via the MPO MAGNA™ app and the smart wearable device to gain better insight into the patient’s pain level, activity, and expectations. This information can be useful to optimally coordinate the care process with the patient’s personal recovery after surgery.

Post surgery, patients can use the MPO MAGNA™ app to provide health-related information so that the patient’s treating doctor can continue monitoring recovery.

Patients can also contact MPO with questions or concerns via the built-in message function before and after the surgery.
