MrSun determines where the sun will be at any given time, date, or location. A slider controls the time of day, and shows the direction of the sun (azimuth) and angle over the horizon (elevation) both numerically and visually. If the compass is available, the azimuth gauge will show you the direction of the sun relative to your position at any time. Makes use of GPS to determine location, but the user can use a map to choose a new location anywhere in the world. This should go without saying, but please use good judgment and common sense when going out in the sun. And for goodness' sake, don't look right at it. Amber Digital assumes no responsibility for your sunburn, or eye damage.

I like the app, but it won't save the custom location, and that is with the option to auto reset location turned off. It's a pain to pick the location every time it's launched. Add to that, the compass likes to point east, if it points anywhere at all. Needs a little work, but overall a good app.

Nice app. I am making a sundial and this is just what I was looking for to personalize it for my latitude and longitude. Also I'm just a geek who likes having this data.

Thank you for updating this. The broken compass works again! Seriously folks, this doohickey is a must-have for the serious photographer, painter or architect!

I wanted an app to gauge sun position throughout the day to give me an idea of the plants I should use in the garden. Works great. Simple and effective.
