Ms Finance 4+

I have been using Ms Finance for over a year. I purchased it as a replacement for MS Money and have found it to be an effective replacement that is easy to use for all my home finances. I had been using MS Money on pc’s for a long time (10 + years). When I changed to using a Mac I needed something to replace Money. I used other apps offered in the App Store but none of them felt comfortable to use or had all the functionality I needed. I also had some security concerns with one app. Then I found Ms Finance. It takes care of all my home finance requirements, has the functions I need and I don’t worry about security. It offers about the same features as MS Money did. When I purchased this app the tutorial was weak so it took a little while to discover how to do certain things. I’m sure that that has been corrected. The one small issue I have is with recurring expenses. I would like the previous amount shown on all previous posted expenses and have the option to save that amount or revise it. That would also make it easier to determine if a bill had been paid or if there has been a change to a recurring payment. Other than that this is a great app.

I have been using this app for several year. My needs are for household finances and personal record keeping. No businesses, rentals, high finances or budgeting. The use of this app is so easy to pull up a particular bill I pay to see if the cost has gone up; to keep track of certain purchases for a particular occassion; pull tax info that I marked as taxable; and more. Keeping track of Checkbooks, credit cards, savings are the main focus for myself. One negative that I wish they would amend; is to add more icon symbols for types of bills or categories. Since I have had this program there has never been any changes or additions to these choices. 😕 Happy with the program and my simple personal uses.

I have been using it fro the day as a trial and it seems fast and stable. I found it a little challenging to import data but then I figured it out. I think part of the problem was with the app that I was getting it from making the csv file strange. When I bring up the totals form the last app I have to call debit and withdraw the opposite thing in this app. I am still getting to know the app but it seems good. I am switching back to Windows when this OS quits though, Apple just costs too much, but I wish this app also worked on windows it would make the switch easier. This is the fastest finance app I have ever used
