Nice idea that needs some work
I like the idea of the app but it seems like I am beta testing that idea. The app crashes sometimes while longer adding movies. The UI needs improved. I often have to tap buttons several times such as the seen button and then I have no visual clue if my button click registered. I had a bunch of movies that I clicked seen show up in the watch list. It's good you can share a single movie but how about sharing your the whole lay of movies you have seen or want to see? How about sorting movies by genre or release date? How about letting user add their own rating so they can remember if they liked it?

I'll stick with my plain text file for now
When I came across this app, I was interested, because for the past few years, I've been using a text file to track the same sort of information that this app claims to track. However, after ten minutes of fiddling, I see only one benefit to this - the links to information about the movies. There are many things I can do with my plain text file that I can't do here: First, any movie that can't be found by the program might as well not exist, because there's no way to suggest additions to the master database, or to make note of movies not in the database until they get added. (OTOH, some movies are listed two or three times, for no apparent reason.) Second, the movies you tag seem to be listed in order you tag them, with no obvious way to change this to an order that makes sense to you, or to something easily reviewable such as alphabetical. Third, you can only tag movies as "watched" or "to watch", which is useful, but not very versatile. User-definable tags are necessary, such as "purchased on iTunes", "seen in theater", "have on DVD", "I'm not interested, but my kid is", etc. I'm sorry if this is sounding like a litany of shortcomings, but the author has responded to this, and I haven't found any other way to communicate with him. (I'm not on Facebook or Twitter.)
