I spent almost 10 years of my life with a horrible person. I made the brave choice to leave. I spent 6 years alone. I went on a couple of dates but nothing past the first date before this app. Other websites are what I like to call “hit and runs” which I’m not into. after spending many years alone I looked up marriage apps. I then found Muzmatch. I am not Muslim, but I have been open to it. There was a lot of matches but nothing seemed to go past talking. Now this is not the apps fault. This is from my own fear. Fear of finding someone horrible again. But one person stuck out. We went on a first date. I was scared. The date was horrible (not his fault, we laugh about it now). The next few days we still talked via texting. He said to me “I’m not going to see you again am I?” I battled with this answer I didn’t want to see him again I was scared being in an abusive relationship will do that to you. But I don’t know why but we saw each again after a few weeks and kept seeing each other more and more. And I wasn't scared with him. I was comfortable and happy. It was his eyes that changed everything. When I looked into his eyes they were completely different from my Ex. They were kind eyes. I felt no fear when I looked at him. 6 months from our first date we got married! Next month will be our 2 year wedding anniversary. Getting muzmatch was the best decision of my life. I am so happy that god took away my fear of men and opened my heart for my now husband. Every time I look at him I am so grateful that the fear left me and allowed this man into my life and love him so much. To everyone else give this app a chance. It truly saved me maybe it will do the same to you.

Alhamdulilah, I got a lot of amazing matches and there is many options to choose from. Any location, ethnicity, how religious they are (but that's for you to find out!), age, etc. This is coming from a female's perspective. App was developed well and no glitches! You can request to rematch again if someone unmatched you or if you unmatched them and blur your photo if you don't want someone to see it then give the option for them to see it when you're ready. Best Muslim dating/matrimonial app in my opinion. There are some non Muslims on there.. weird.. The upgrade paid version gives you more options. I just found my man 😜 My cousin found his soulmate on here and they're now happily married mA. some are serious, some ready for marriage ASAP, and others are just there to waste your time (stay cautious)! What we wouldn’t do for each other! Completed half of our deen. We are long distance but making it work with our love, commitment and du’as for each other. Maybe im experiencing some kind of Mandela effect but I’m pretty sure a few months ago, Muzz announced that filters were now going to be free yet the only actual new one is ethnicity. I can understand that particular addition but I do not understand why they prioritized unlocking ethnicity instead of far more important things like from the Faith & Practice section.. prayer level and how much they’re practicing are major for Muslims.It’s also really, really dissapointing that they reduced the number of options to select for ethnicity when creating your profile. If you’re Japanese, you can only select “East Asian.” But they still list specific countries for Desi/South Asian and Arab users. If you’re from Gambia, your only choice is “West African.” It feels like they’re grouping entire cultures and regions together—unless you’re from a background they assume more Muslims come from???I hate to throw this term around, but it just feels super *uninclusive*. Why do I get to know if someone is specifically Egyptian or Pakistani, but no one gets to know if I’m Chinese or Korean? If I’m Mexican, Colombian, or Venezuelan, I’m just “Hispanic.” Entire regions are lumped into broad categories or forced to select only a race for their ethnicity, while others can choose a specific ethnicity for their ethnicity lol.. It sends a clear message about who they assume belongs on their app and who doesn’t.

Ok last time I reviewed I gave this a 3/5. It’s up to a 4/5 lol. So the app I feel has more serious choices/folks. Which is good. There is still a lot of weirdos but that comes with any app so nothing against muzmatch. The reason I won’t give this a full 5/5 yet is because the interface could use work. I hate how I have to “visit” profiles that like me to like or pass them. Especially when I wanna say no basically. I wish there was a way were your list of folks who “like” you can be LISTED going down instead of that horizontal scroll - with info included and the option to like back or dislike without visiting the page. But maybe this is the app’s way of us making sure our decision isn’t based on looks etc. And honestly it isn’t I just keep getting the wrong sect guys liking me and I want to pass them lol. So I guess I see the reasoning of why we must visit a page but I think knowing they’re getting that notification that I’ve visited their page is weird. What if I wanna just check their profile out but don’t wanna make it seem I’m obsessed or creepy? LOL. I guess that’s where the issue may lay. Anyways this IS a good app. I’m really hopeful. So far I have a couple matches and they seem great. So let’s see. Anyways keep it up. Hope the constructive criticism helped!
