Description

Image-to-Text technology can pull quotes from your screenshots. And a sleek mobile app design allows for effortless logging.

Bookstory is an app created for book lovers, book nerds, life-long learners, bookish fanatics, and every type of reader in between. Bookstory was created for readers who see reading as more than a pastime, more than a hobby. Reading is a way of life.

The books we read tell the story of us. Finally, we have a place to capture and tell that story.

Bookstory allows you to capture the Reading Moments that inspire, surprise and delight you! Log a Booknote to capture a quote and jot down your thoughts—why did you love it? What made this moment special? You can also tag each logged Booknote with your Reading View: an unfiltered picture of where you were during that Reading Moment.

Your main feed shows you what—and where—the Bookstory community is reading and thinking. But the private "My Bookstory" feed lets you return to your own Reading Moments: to the quotes that hit you deep in your gut, to the Reading Views and geographical locations that feel utterly intertwined with certain stories.

Are you guilty of screenshotting quotes? Have you ever written down a memorable phrase from a story only to lose the scrap paper or Note on your phone where you tracked it? Have you ever been in conversation about a meaningful book, wanting to reference a SWOON moment or an inspiring quote, only to paraphrase it and completely lose the power of the quote in translation? Bookstory is the answer! Log those special Reading Moments for easy reference later, deeper engagement with books, and nostalgic reminiscing.

Bookstory is the companion to every storied life.
