Useful

Great app. Keeps simple records of your car events that you can’t remember. Gives useful data about fuel consumption. This was the easiest app to get going. Works okay as-is, I opted to upgrade to the basic to add a few more descriptions, only a few bucks and worth it.
Best is the filter on events. I add service events with multiple things done like oil change, oil filter, rotate tires, etc. then when you want to see when your last oil change was, apply the filter to list of all events and it not only shows you the last but any and every event with an oil change. Makes it really easy to see when, where and what was done. Keeps costs too and totals reports by month and year with averages. May seem silly, but over time this becomes more useful data.
I’m just having fun entering every refuel to see how my vehicle is preforming and also watch fuel prices over time.
Has many other features.
I really found the layout very easy to read and understand how to use. Great app.

Best Tool For Logging Events

This app is well worth the money. I have the paid version and it is what I use to keep track of all my business expenses and the money that the truck makes, all I can say is this my car app is awesome and it even gives you a well, detailed profit, and loss report and will protect your fuel mileages. You can even separate trips, so many things you can do with it.

TRULY FRUSTRATING!!!!

When you start a trip the app knows the day and time…however when you go to close the trip with the ending mileage the app still reads the starting day and time. The app needs to change to current day and time EVERY time we open the trip window which will save a BUNCH of time! Another needed fix… when you fill in the Notes when starting or closing a trip, the app doesn’t start the sentence with a capital letter! What program on earth doesn’t know to start a sentence with a capitalized letter? And…let’s say you forget to add a service like new tires I purchased a month ago and decide to add it at a later date…NOPE! The system won’t allow you to add a mileage that is less than the most recent mileage as in when I bought gasoline yesterday. This app truly has some amazing problems that you would think would be easy to fix!

Update: Note when trying to add a reminder, the app won’t allow me to add a reminder from the past!!! in other words, I want to add a reminder at the mileage 102,219 and I’m over 103,000 now…OMG this app is SO BAD, it has motivated me to make a mileage tracking app that works!

Thanks for your feedback. You can add events also for past dates of course. When adding a new event make sure the event date is the actual event date (not the current date). Odometer values must increase chronologically. The other issues you mentioned have already been fixed. If you have any other questions please contact info@kineapps.com.
