No longer updated!

I came back to this game, and noticed no body has review it since 2013. I am going to explain about the game itself. I have no idea why their no longer updating it, but it was a good game that allows you to pet your dragon, do quests and dress it up. Plus customize although theirs things I don't like, which how the dragon acts like a dog... And the quests is more of a stage thing. Other than that, it did had potential and wish it continued. Anyway regardless of the no longer updates available, feel free to play it and check it out yourself it still a good game nonetheless. :)

Short-term fun

It starts off ok, scrambling to make money (scales) to afford the clothes you need to buy to get new quests. Later on, you have a ton of scales because it ups the profit from quests as you go along, but Absolutely Nothing left to buy with them (you can only buy items once). There are some items, including dragon customization, you need coins to buy, but they generally cost a large number of coins & they are very difficult to get unless you pay real money for them. The app does allow you to trade coins for scales instead of using real money to buy scales, but not the other way around which is the only way that really makes sense to a player considering after you buy everything you can still use coins to customize your dragons. Also, the quests repeat quite frequently; I don't think there's been a new one since level 7 or something. You can train your dragon to do tricks, but its not required for anything, just another way to make coins that is otherwise pointless. All in all, this app starts off annoying as you slowly save up for clothes and quests & ends even worse, with no purpose for the products of your efforts.

I just got this game and I think that it is so cute. Not to mention the wonderful graphics! I've been waiting a long time for a game like this.
On the other hand, it is very slow paced; as when your dragon runs out of energy, you can't play for a while. This brings me to another thing. So many things in the market are priced with coins or hearts: and those are too hard to get. Also, it takes a long time to raise your dragons happiness level if you can't afford a playtoy or a new outfit for it. You shouldn't have to buy a toy again and again. Food I understand; but a new toy each time?
This is the thing that is the worst: some items in the store require you to buy them with hearts. I played with the other people's dragons and got 10 hearts, and have had no way of earning hearts since then. It won't let me visit their dragons again. Also, none of my friends have this game so that didn't help.
I was glad it didn't require real money! Love this game-- definitely get it!!!
