Glitchy and Not Very Useful

I got this app because I need to track my mom’s potassium intake. I was hoping to look up foods to see how much they contained, but this app barely functions at all. When I tried to look up something as simple as “Mini Wheats” or even just “cereal,” it says item not found. At one point during my search, the app crashed completely.

I tried out the restaurant function and the first three locations have been out of business for quite a while. Probably not the apps fault, but a little annoying. I really don’t see any reason to keep this app on my phone. Deleting it.

Missing crucial electrolyte values

The whole reason I downloaded this app was to try and track potassium and phosphorous. However, most foods listed on the app are completely missing these values. It’s a disgrace considering this app was made by the national kidney foundation. It’s a shame that dialysis patients like me have seemingly nowhere to turn to for support or help managing our care, even from the foundation that’s supposed to be dedicated to it. 0/5.

Unable to monitor Phosphorus

Why bother using this if it can’t track phosphorus? Not worth your time. Although I read the other 1 stars and it seems to be user error. My app ran into none of those issues.
