Great way to give back
Easy way to give to charity! What a great thing if I can do the shopping I needed to do anyway and earn money to support important causes at the same time. Easy to use and a ton of retailers to shop from. Plus, I can stack rewards between online stores and gift cards. I gave 4 stars because I had trouble with logging in for a month.
Lots of Great Changes
I really like the recent changes. The gift cards and ability to send them as gifts is really great. My wife appreciated a surprise Starbucks gift. Also, it is possible to stack rewards. I did a Lands End online purchase using gift cards and earned almost 18% for my charity. That’s a big deal! I also noticed a previous review that mentioned HuTerra takes 25% of rewards. I don’t believe that is the case anymore or at least in my case the % reward I see in the app is the amount that was actually give to my charity. Overall, these are all great changes.
I downloaded this app, created an account and started scanning receipts to earn money for a youth sports team. The app was mostly easy to navigate and “earning” money for my youth sports team was easy! About 2 weeks into this “fund raiser” I went to scan in receipts and discovered I had been signed out of my account.
That is when the issues started. I tried MULTIPLE times to sign into my account but I was unsuccessful. I tried a new password, I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, NOTHING worked. I contacted customer support and was told to try it again. Are you kidding? I tried at least 10 times to get into my account. I decided not to waste anymore time trying to solve this dilemma.
