Description
My Local Token is a platform for community currencies in U.S. localities that helps promote shopping local, saves merchants on transaction fees, and brings new possibilities for savings and rewards to customers and visitors. You can quickly and securely make, request, and receive payments using the app. You can also send and redeem gifts of MLT to others, even if they are not already MLT users.
MLT is currently used only in Staunton, Virginia, but will be expanding to additional communities soon.
MLT is built on Celo (celo.org) and uses the Celo Dollar (cUSD) stablecoin as the base currency and the Celo network for transactions.
