Why can’t I pay mortgage from my phone app?

In July and again now in August 2020 I have not been able to pay my mortgage from the phone app. This evening, when I tried to queue the mortgage payment, I was asked to provide an OTP that the bank sent to my cell phone. When I did it I was notified that there was a problem with completing the transaction. The same thing happened on my second attempt too. I wanted to make sure that my account was not blocked by trying and likely failing a third time.

I had the same experience with mortgage payment in July 2020 — couldn’t pay from phone app but no problem when I paid from a computer and a browser. I never had this problem with the previous version of the App (before this major redesign in 2020).

Second point about bill pay from the app is I don’t have problems paying smaller bill payment amounts. WHY???

Also, why are the list of payees shown differently between the browser based list and the app based list?

Since my last comment, shown below within parentheses for reference, some of the points have been fixed through the subsequent mini updates. But the app has a long way to be friendly and a true substitute for browser based banking. I thought this parallelism was promised in the new app.

I am giving it a 3-star because there are many more features in the new app and new browser based banking. Now if you can fix the bugs.

(The new update to the app has gone back to at least 5 years. It is terrible, quite unfriendly, instructions are not clear, the verification codes or PINs do not transfer from the message to the app, and refused to take my mortgage payment which I did last month. Did the accounts go away? Could be. I have no way to see the details of the pre-populated payees. All in all a very dismal experience. Need another update or revision to the app immediately.)

App is Always Down

I’ve had the new app for a few days and it has been unable to open for an extended period of time each day. It is super frustrating when you can’t access banking easily via the app. The previous app did not have this problem. I like the new look but wish it would open consistently each time I need to check my accounts.

Loss of functionality

The new update is a half-step forward, and two back.
Adds check deposit.
Still doesn’t address multiple logins or multiple mobiles.
Removes ability to customize JUST THE MOBILE VIEW.
Removes which card performs a transaction from Report download (excel). (Still on screen, not in download!)
