Not Deaf friendly enough
I have been looking forward to showing signing time to my 2 year old, and she enjoys the songs and signs. My biggest complaint would be that several videos are spoken without sim com/signing and without the option of captions.
Also poor user interface, disorganized video library.
As an app that could benefit the deaf community it should be made more accessible to deaf parents and deaf children. This is an app geared towards hearing children and parents- while using the deaf community’s language... must say I am very disappointed in this day and age to find not even captions in many “sign language” videos when spoken language is not signed throughout.
Want to love but app doesn’t work - please fix!!
Streaming works but I’ve tried downloading videos for airplane trips and it has never worked. Please fix this! It’s the only television I allow my daughter to watch and if I could actually download (like the app and paid subscription say I can) it would be amazing. Please get the download function working!
Both of my kids love it, but the app crashes a lot
My kids LOVE Baby Signing Time. They love Rachel and have learned so much from it. I found it when my daughter was a year old, but she still learned so much. Signing helped SIGNIFICANTLY with preventing tantrums. We started it with my son at 6 months. The only downside, it crashes A LOT on me. And I wish they would make the app Apple TV friendly so I don’t have to always AirPlay it from the phone or iPad. I’m hoping for an update soon so my kids can go back to enjoying it.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
