UPDATE: I needed to come here and update my review after working along side the app creator to help him identify and fix the bug I was experiencing. Not only did he fix the issue, but he was incredibly passionate about ensuring the app users have the best experience possible. My app now works flawlessly and I’ve seen huge changes in my personal growth. I can say again that this app is a total game changer and would highly recommend it to any and everyone looking to make or sustain change in their life!Just recently downloaded this app and after night one - literally one session - I was BLOWN AWAY at the difference listening to my own affirmations in my voice made. Outstanding! Easily would have rated 5/5 stars based on effectiveness alone. However, the most recent update has caused hiccups - major hiccups in my opinion. My affirmations no longer play through the night. Sometimes they don’t even play all the way through a cycle, not getting the chance to repeat. I constantly am waking up to silence even though the app is still telling me it’s playing. I can put my ear buds or Bluetooth headphones on full volume and it’s crickets. I’ve also tried to listen during the day at work - same problem. Sometimes pausing the session will work to “reset” the flow of the affirmations, but typically this isn’t the case. I’m finding I have to completely close the app and start from the very beginning…only to experience the same thing in an hour or two. The effectiveness is dwindling which is such a disappointment! Please help fix this ASAP! 😩 Still giving 3/5 for performance prior to the update and for potential if the creators fix this bug ASAP. (I will also give credit that the update now let’s the app play in the background. Good call!) I was in love with this app 100% and I need that love restored to its former glory!

Hi cjmarie,In the 1.3.0 version (which AppStore tells us that you are using as you wrote this review), we added functionality to play the affirmations with the phone in lock screen. It was a big change in the core functionality of the app. We realised there was some issues, and fixed most of the things that you are describing. Version 1.3.2 was out a few days ago, so please update it, and let us know if things has gotten better. If the issues persist, feel free to contact me at ibo@anzaro.dk, and we'll be happy to look into it. Thank you for using My Sleep Affirmations :)

I’m surprised this app isn’t more popular. Honestly like $5 a month is worth it. It’s so well designed there’s so many options and I love the way we can adjust so many features.After having this app for a month a small glitch occurred where none of the new affirmations I typed worked. They would all just have a random title. And when I went to record, every single existing affirmation in that playlist would be the same recording. I deleted the app, redownloaded it, and clicked restore purchases, just an FYI if you have this problem too!

I highly recommend this app if you want to change your life! It’s easy to use and the affirmations are beautifully written. I also love that I can write my own and use my voice for both the pre-written and my own! It has helped me replace old beliefs so quickly!

I highly recommend this app if you want to change your life! It’s easy to use and the affirmations are beautifully written. I also love that I can write my own and use my voice for both the pre-written and my own! It has helped me replace old beliefs so quickly!
