I’ve always had issues with time management and procrastination, not to mention just forgetting about assignments and tests. I’ve tried for years to use a physical planner but it’s never worked out and I’d always abandon them after a day or two. So far I’ve only been using this app for a couple weeks but it’s completely changed the way I go about schoolwork! Because it’s online it’s always available and easily accessible, and I love being able to get reminders when I have a due date coming up. I can input as much information as I need about an assignment as well without running out of room, which was another problem I had with physical planners. With the different tabs I can see just my “tasks” or assignments coming up, or I can look at my calendar tab and see all my classes, exams, holidays and assignments for the month. It took me a few days to figure out how to fully use the website/app, but it’s much easier to navigate than some other websites I’ve used. Honest opinion, I’ve never been this excited about anything to do with school, but now it’s almost kinda fun to schedule all my classes, tasks and exams and to mark them as completed when I’m done. I feel so accomplished and I really feel like it’s in part thanks to this program. Maybe I’ll be back with an update when the semester is over. Anyways, I absolutely recommend!
GREAT APP!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First and for most, I definitely recommend this to students young and old. The amount of free features and subscription features are fair, and there aren’t any pop-up adds literally begging for your money😅. I have tried many apps similar to this (that aren’t sketchy), and this is by far is the best app! Some claim to be “great organizers” and “the only planner you will ever need”, but, in my experience, they are either too organized to where it’s overwhelming, or it just doesn’t offer what I need. If it does, it’s usually has to be paid for. It’s a great app. BTW if you had the courage to read this long review, I appreciate it😂 hope this helps! To Developers, Thank you for taking the time to read this. I have notice what I suspect to be a bug in the app. The screen has frozen and before crashed mid-usage (exited on its own to my iPad’s Home Screen). Hopefully this can be fixed. If I could recommend one thing, please, it would be great if the Test feature could be unlocked for free. I feel like it is a very popular thing to use in planners, and no other apps do so or is as great as yours; it really would be awesome if that is possible. Amazing app, keep it running!

I’ve been using this app to plan my school assignments for a literal decade! I started using it in middle school and I’m now in my senior year of college. It was amazing! But this last update made it so unusable that I switched to a different planner app (Power Planner). With the new update, it’s incredibly difficult to manage the subjects you’re taking unless they divide into nice English, Math, Science, History labels. You can’t view a task unless you go to the calendar, which defaults to showing the day instead of the week or month, and scroll to the day where you made the task due. If you’re trying to put in deadlines from a syllabus, this means you could be scrolling for literal months just to make sure you actually created the assignment. The tasks show up on the calendar like classes, making it really difficult to tell what’s actually a class and what’s a homework assignment. It’s super confusing to even create a task to begin with! In what world does it make sense to default to the creation of a class rather than a task? It genuinely goes class -> exam -> task. That’s the opposite of the order that would make sense to use most frequently! The tabs of the old app used to give you a nice, legible dashboard that told you what tasks were coming up. Now, it’s impossible to tell what the tasks even are or when they’re due. I’m incredibly disappointed in how much they ruined this app when it’s been functioning amazingly well for years!!

Thank you for being such a dedicated user of My Study Life over the years! It’s amazing to hear that the app has been with you since middle school, helping you stay organized all the way through to your senior year of college.I’m sorry to hear that the recent update hasn’t met your expectations. I want to mention that custom subjects are still an option, so you can label them in a way that suits your courses better.Your feedback on the task creation process and calendar view is really valuable, and I’ve passed it along to our team. We’re continuously working on improving the app, and insights like yours help guide those improvements. If you have any other suggestions or need assistance with anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at care@mystudylife.com. We’d love to help make the app work better for you. 💙
Evolving Backwards

The recent overhaul of the app really isn’t that good. Before, it was the perfect app that I used to keep track of all my classes, hw, studying, exams, etc. for my college courses. I loved this app it really did help me stay in top of things and stay in honors. Now it’s a lot harder to manage and they added a paywall for personalization. The app is laggy, clunky, and hard to use now. To create a task now you have to click several buttons instead of one. When selecting options, even if you hit done, it continues to think you are typing in the text fields. You have to have a time on all tasks, and sometimes if you navigate to a later time at night to give you day to work on it, it automatically changes it to the next day. The spin wheel for the time is too low so I keep on swiping up out of the app. The completion drag bar is too wide so I can’t easily swip a task to 100% because then my phone case gets in the way. (It’s not a huge case at all). There are lots of these little things that have taken this once beloved app way down. I think one day it be good as it once was but unfortunately we are quite a ways away. I am not sure why they changed it, but I’m sad that they have made it so much harder to use now. I would love to help the developers get it back to where it was because, as I said above, this really did use to help me and I would be honored to get it back to where it was for other students (hs, college, or grad) to get as much out of it as I once did.
Exam season is coming - we've cleaned up the calendar view to make your upcoming tests and deadlines easier to see at a glance. Plus the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. Good luck out there.
