Hate I ever called ADT, misrepresented service
I needed security around my home and I called ADT 800 number. AST sent out a tech who installed my system. He showed me how to work the app to view my home and then he showed me this camera (Ring) now hang on my house next to the original door bell. It looks a hot mess on a light Greg house. Then I hear noise outside my home and I go to view past activity from the last 5 min and get a message my contract has expired. I call ring and ask them why am U being asked to pay an additional charge, when I already agreed to a set charge with ADT. I called ADT, they said I need to call a company called Defender a 3rd party vender passing themselves off as ADT. This is not right. When people demand safety in and around their homes ADT and Defender is misleading people and putting them in a contract that is not being accurately explained to them and can’t afford. Leaving the customer with a false since if Securiity and a loss of trust. I hate I ever called ADT who has forced me to now have to deal with a company I never heard of and now have to pay more money outside of ADT’s already expensive plans.
Worst ever 🤬
This is the worst experience of my life with any company that provide service. They will tell you everything like we will give you money back, and we will give this and that. Good luck, they are just trying take advantage of people and lock you down for 3 years. After you sign they don’t remember anything or care about you, nor anything they told you. Worst customer experience ever, they won’t find the calls related with your request and tell you after they won’t give you the rebate because you didn’t call them, when you did, and they expect you keep track of that. They are not even watching at the system on my house. The system was down for a week and not them or the app ever noticed or notify us. Also worst Customer Service ever. Those people are just nasty. I will be definitely not a customer anymore.
So to summarize layers, scammers, unprofessionals and incompetent at what they actually do.

This is the worse I ever experienced with a company.
It all started because I needed a certificate for the home insurance. The account was still on my husbands name who died in 2017. They could NOT change the name on the account even that, with a death certificate, I could prove that I was his spouse. I had to close the account and open and pay for a new account on my name. Nothing worked anymore but I still had to pay. They came to install the system 15 days ago and still nothing worked. Every day I got a phone call that the system needed to be reset. I called back and had to press buttons on the ADT path. Still not working!!!!. Finally after 17 days a technician was send to solve the problem. Let’s hope it works now
