Not user friendly

I have been a member of the credit union since the early 1980s. I have never been so frustrated with the credit union than I have been over the last couple months with the rollout of their new app and website. I do not find the app intuitive in its new iteration. Further its rollout was done poorly. User testing seems to have been quite deficient. I’m not sure if them trying to grow outside the Richfield Bloomington area has been too much for this credit union, but I enjoyed it more and found the smaller fuel more appealing. This has nothing to do with the app but changing the name from Richfield Bloomington credit union to My Minnesota credit union was a bad decision. Hope they can get it all sorted or I may jump ship to another CU.

I have been a member of the credit union since the early 1980s. I was actually quite happy with their mobile banking BEFORE. Now, it’s a janky UI, very unreliable experience, and half of the info I relied on before is no longer available. For example, within your transactions you can no longer see your running balance. Usually if you have let’s say $100 and spend $10 it’ll tell you the running balance per transaction…. Nope, that’s gone. So all you get is your current total. On top of that, their integration with plaid and other 3rd party financial management/planning softwares is gone. Every app that had previously had my accounts here linked stopped working in Mid August and haven’t updated since.Their website has a new addition on the Home Screen “we’re experiencing high call volumes” yea I wonder why?! They ruined their app so now everyone is resorting to call instead of using their mobile banking cause they ruined it.

First and foremost: can’t see or pay my credit card bill. I have called three times to see when this would be made available and they do not know, ‘we’re working on it’ is essentially what I get each time. No ETA. Thankfully I am very unlikely to ever come close to reaching my monthly limit but I imagine others could have this issue. You have to call and make a payment through them. Also, every time I make a transaction on my debit card, it still keeps the charge as ‘pending’ for a day after the charge is posted — so double the amount is missing for a day. I called to ask about this and was told the duplicate pending charge will disappear after a day so it ‘should be fine.’ Ok thanks but it didn’t used to do that. If I spend $40 on a transaction, I shouldn’t be down $80 with $40 posted and the same $40 still pending. That did not happen before the system upgrade. I have also noticed a few different times that money has been transferred from my savings into my checking. I have not made these transfers and was not going to overdraft, so there was never a need for a transfer. I moved out of the area recently and have thought about switching to a more local bank. This is expediting my decision.
