Not very happy

I have been a consultant and or director 22 years. Originally I was excited to try the app and happy for my team and myself that they might no longer have to use third party software for inventory tracking. I dislike two major things:
1) every time a new line of products…for example foundations, glosses, lipsticks is realeased…the app deletes records of my product on hand much too early. I understand removing discontinued inventory…but a record and maybe 6 month grace period would be more practical. Now I am stuck needing to do a major hand count.
2) during maybe the 2022 app update, all of my customers are no longer visible on the app even though they are visible on the website myCustomers link. What happened?
Please fix the issue.

Inventory Tracking problems

So, I deleted the app and then re-loaded it from the cloud. I was pleased that all of my customer information was still there. I guess that’s because it syncs from intouch. But, the reason why I wanted to delete it in the first place is because I was showing negative amounts in my inventory and I couldn’t change it to zero without having to add in the positive amount. To me that doesn’t show an accurate count. I wanted an accurate count of my inventory, so I decided to do my annual hand count and then put it in the myCustomers app. It’s great how you can scan your barcodes, but what about adding the inventory on your shelf, I thought. So when I reloaded it I scanned one of my shipments and it added it seamlessly. Then I went to add the other things in my inventory. I had a problem right away finding some of the products. I could not add my individual inventory items of the clear proof set, for example. So, being frustrated I didn’t continue. Mary Kay IT Dept., PLEASE fix the problems so we can use the app. It would be great if it was programmed properly and would help save SO MUCH time. Thanks.

So far so good

Have been using the app almost a year and I love the improvements that have been made so far. I do appreciate auto adding inventory through the camera tool since I don’t have to add them individually but it would be great if removing used a multiple select tool. Another issue I have is that I’d love to make notifications and reminders in the app actually push through my phone as an alert so that I do get the reminders to call certain customers, and not just when I remember to open the app. Otherwise, this is basically a better way of managing everything Mary Kay on the go and/or on a phone
