It used to be that you could only report outages with a phone call, but with El Paso Electric’s new MyEPE app you can do it with the touch of a button.
The new app features:
Secure log-in to view residential properties associated with your account number
Report your power outages and receive restoration updates
Follow social media posts by El Paso Electric
Update contact information, including phone number and email address
Receive an email, text or message if there is an outage that has occurred at your home (you must be registered in the app)
App is also available in Spanish
This update includes performance and stability improvements.

Not happy now what
This app is no longer useful for me. I would have the app mainly to make payments. It’s nice that I can access for outage, but realistically, how much use is that?! Bill pay is monthly. It used to have that option (feature) available. Now I don’t see the use for the app. Utility apps should help make it easier for everyone. Hope someone sees this and includes it bill Pat cuz I’m sure I’m not the only with this issue
This application used to be useful until they changed everything. If there was a 0 star that is what I’d put instead. The app used to have the ability to view and pay your electric bill but they completely took that out and now the app is borderline useless. I truly hope whoever made this app sees my issue/complaint with the app and changes it back.
Sure it’s nice there is a way to report an outage, but the convenance of paying my bill here rather then calling or going to the pay centers (because let’s admit it customer service is also a 0 for you guys) is so much easier for a lot of consumers this day and age. I also agree with another person’s feedback if there was a 0 option I pick it rather then a 1 star.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
