Does your fitness class profile need something more? Turn up the energy on your favorite playlist by attaching coaching cues at any point. To prepare your workout, create a MyFitnessDJ playlist by selecting tracks from your Music library - including Apple Music tracks - or choosing an existing playlist. For each track choose a Smart Preset or enter custom cues to be displayed at specific times during track play. Select custom begin/end times and crossfade to make a smooth mix using just the best parts of each track. An automatic countdown timer helps make every second count. You can share your playlist via AirpDrop, iMessage or email. And your working zone colors can be shown on a HomeKit enabled light bulb by turning on Zone Glow in tools. Subscribe to the Power Pack in-app purchase ($2.99 per month) for TickerTape, Cue Lookahead and Magic Remote. Or subscribe to the Studio Edition in-app purchase ($9.99 per month) for Tempo Tools and MyFitnessDJ Scoreboard to calculate and display working zones from connected sensors. Completed workout stats can be shared and imported into the Health app. Both Power Pack and Studio Edition are auto renewable subscriptions which will renew each month unless turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that feature set, where applicable. Issues with playlists

I have about 50 playlists on my iPad. On occasion I will see a “cloud” icon next to a song on the playlist. If I don’t catch it, during a class, it skips over the song. I get s pop up stating the song is not on my device which it clearly is. Like today I had to delete about a dozen songs/drills then recreate them. Really annoying since it can happen after I checked the playlist for issues.

Hi TerryP1957, So glad you like MyFitnessDJ and am honored by your high rating! I know it can take a little time to figure out, but I also know that MFDJ helps IC instructors with a wide range of styles be even better at what they already do well. You're one of those. Keep it up!

After searching for an app after the one I used was taken off the market, this app is awesome. I love the cross fade option and definitely easy to use. One question.. how can I keep a song the same speed from beginning to end?

I started teaching indoor cycling a few months ago. As a techie person and a new teacher I wanted to find/use a good app. I searched high and low and decided on MyFitnessDJ. It offered more features and flexibility than anything else I saw. My class loves the app and it has helped a lot to make me a better teacher. Thanks Dave!

I started teaching indoor cycling a few months ago. As a techie person and a new teacher I wanted to find/use a good app. I searched high and low and decided on MyFitnessDJ. It offered more features and flexibility than anything else I saw. My class loves the app and it has helped a lot to make me a better teacher. Thanks Dave!
Great concept but not great functionality

This app shuts down and malfunctions all the time. I bought a brand new iPhone because I thought it was my phone, but the app still didn’t work properly. Regardless of the updates, it still glitches. Use with caution. Always check each song and cue before teaching. Always have a back up plan and playlist. And always know you’re playlist and cues well just in case.
