Ever look into your fridge at the $200 worth of groceries you just bought, and end up eating string cheese cause you don't know what to do with the rest?? Over 2 Million people in the MyFridgeFood community are here to help. Find easy recipes using what you ALREADY have in your kitchen (always for FREE). Check off what you have and see where you can go! All the recipes are user-submitted so they've been tested by real people at home. Great for if you're looking for a specific recipe, or just a little inspiration. Recipes can be filtered by specific ingredients (i.e. if your cucumbers are about to go bad and you need a recipe), categories (Chicken, Beef, Fish, etc...), and by nutritional information (Fat, Calories, etc...). Also, submit your own recipes to MyFridgeFood to share your style and brand with the community!

Could be better

App is a difficult to navigate quickly - might be handy if the ingredients area had a search bar in addition to the categories so you don’t have to hunt to find your ingredient

Great idea, poorly executed.

I like the idea of being able to put in a list all the ingredients I have available in my kitchen and and get a list of recipes of things I can make with them because I am not that creative the week before payday when my food has dwindled down to nothing and I have supposedly nothing to cook. An ideal app for someone on a budget with limited funds. The issue I have with the app is I select only the things I have available and almost every recipe that comes up requires 1 to 2 more ingredients that I do not have nor did I select it as an ingredient I have available. The point I figured was to be able to stretch what I already had, not make me go shopping for extra ingredients.

My idea come to life!

This was an idea I had about 15 years ago and it is absolutely fantastic and amazing that somebody had the same idea and executed it and knew how to do it! This is absolutely remarkable and I've already shared it with about five people in the last five minutes :-) a bravo! Well done! Fantastic!
