Do not you settle the relations of a relative and the relative? You can easily make a family tree by "myGenealogy". - Add a person with the "+" button and as an icon is piled up. There is such a merit. - A favorite position has flexibility, which can station people. - Indicate a relative name and the degree of kinship by automatic. - Displaying the chronological table from birthday and death day. - The big genealogy unique to iPad can be expressed. - Printing with the image of a screen can be performed. - Backup and restore. - It can register to 20 family lines and 999 persons.

Very simple. Kids would find it easy.

My main beefs: I wish it could resize so more could be viewed on the screen or at least switch to landscape. Long names don't fit in the stamp-sized icons. No middle names.What's nice about it: It's simple to use. So simple that the instructions not being in very good English doesn't really matter. It's easy to rearrange people and add and delete relationships. The icons snap in place which means that everything ends up looking nice. So what if you can't fine tune it to death? I got this for a project my 11 year old was doing and it worked fine for what she needed. If you're going to track your ancestors all the way back to the Mayflower this is not sophisticated enough to make it easy to navigate between branches of the family, but for three or four generations/screen it is plenty.

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. It is possible to recover and start it when the internal state becomes illegal and it can not start up. However, when recover, the display position of a person may change. Sorry to trouble you but please move to the correct position.
