App will not open

I downloaded this app to complete the purchase of a gift card to support a local small business. The app will not open and freezes on the screen. I am unable to retrieve my gift card to use for purchasing the services from the business. I informed the business to reconsider using this defective app because of the difficulties experienced. They will lose a lot of potential customers due to the poor performance of this app.

I downloaded this app because it was required as was 50 11 trillion other steps to use a skating membership I purchased. The membership that is supposed to show up on this app is nowhere to be found. I chatted with support for them to forward me to their M-F only customer support. Therefore I could not use the membership I had purchased over the weekend. Then on Monday, customer service tells me to update my app, logout and back in of my app (I had literally just downloaded the app 48 hours prior) and even make sure my phone was updated. And if that didn’t work then I should be able to tell the business my name and email with the membership. WHATS THE POINT IN DOWNLOADING THE APP?! Absolutely worthless. Oh and the business didn’t honor the membership-has to be in the app.

First off none of the kids skate free rinks are anywhere even close to my state. Also when I tried to cancel my 14 day trial after the first day and not finding anything I could use I couldn’t find where to cancel anywhere so I deleted the app, now that my card has been charged and I downloaded the app again on my phone it won’t even let me open the app, it just sits there with a circle going around for hours. So I can’t cancel now cause I can’t even get into the app to get to my profile. Irritating to say the least. Not ok with paying for a service I can’t use and not ok paying for an app that doesn’t even work. I want a refund for this garbage.

I am a bit ashamed I fell for this one. Clicked on the pop-up ad made to look like a legitimate deal from the verified, large company whose website I was shopping on. Gave them my credit card info when “booking” the professional massage for my wife. I was very tired late on a Friday night. By the time I downloaded the MyHownd app and signed up, there was no deal in the MyHownd wallet, and then it was too late. I realized there never was a time slot that I was asked for, and Google Chrome didn’t even trust the website enough to autofill my credit card info. What was I thinking? I immediately locked my credit card and reported as stolen. New cards en route.

Map Removal: We’ve temporarily removed the Maps feature due to persistent loading errors. We’re working on a better solution to bring location services back soon! UI Fix: Fixed a bug where the "Redeem" button was hiding behind the system navigation bar. Redemption is now just a tap away.
