This mobile app simplifies the management of your personal, medical, and travel data, allowing you to securely upload information for emergency health workers, doctors, hospitals, and insurers to access.
In emergency situations and in medical care, it is crucial for paramedical and medical staff to have detailed and fast access to patient information. Often, patients are unconscious or unable to communicate, and their relatives or friends may not have sufficient knowledge about their medical background. This lack of critical information can lead to incorrect treatments and interventions that may harm the patient's health.
Recent healthcare crises, especially during the pandemic, have highlighted the need for medical staff to quickly access personal information and medical data history. To address this concern, we have developed myInfoBand, a software application available on mobile and web platforms. It provides a solution for paramedics and medical staff to access the necessary information required to deliver appropriate treatment.
The myInfoBand products (bracelets, cards, stickers, etc) feature dynamic QR codes. By scanning this QR code, authorized personnel such as emergency personnel, doctors, or the general public can instantly access customized information about the owner, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.
By using myInfoBand, the owner can upload personal and medical data required in emergency situations and in medical care, including information about allergies, acute or chronic diseases, current medication, implants, tests, and medical history. This data can be accessed through mobile and web applications, as well as support products.
Owners also have the option to grant access to family doctors, other healthcare professionals, hospitals, and insurers, as well as friends and family members, enabling them to view or upload data to their profiles, by voluntarily sharing their profiles.
To further enhance the ecosystem, myInfoBand will be continuously developed with new functionalities. These include alerts and notifications for screenings and prevention, ensuring therapy and treatment compliance, automatically alerting contacts when a medical emergency is indicated by scanning the QR, and the creation of medical risk profiles.
