Understanding the benefits of Mindfulness:
myKinCloud offers a range of features to help your family or group develop healthy, daily mindfulness habits that involve the mind, body and soul:

1) Meditation Practices
Feel calmer and more centered through meditation. Simple, kid-friendly guided practices to focus on the breath and calm the mind. All practices are short, but high impact; new content is added regularly.

2) Gratitude Journaling
Create a daily list of things for which you are grateful. Happiness experts attest that a regular gratitude practice wires the brain to find joy. By posting gratitude journals to your KinCloud, you inspire positivity.

3) Self-Awareness Check-ins
Check in with your KinCloud about how your day is going, how you are feeling and why. Habitual check-ins with our feelings promote emotional centering and self-compassion.

4) Mindful Messaging
Share an inspirational photo or meaningful words to brighten someone's day in your KinCloud and foster connection.

5) Yoga Practices
Move the body and feel better through yoga. Simple, kid-friendly videos created to connect the body with the breath and make us feel good.

6) Inspirations
Click on inspirations when you need a positive, uplifting quote to brighten your day.

A dad’s perspective

My wife signed our family (incl our two kids) up to this terrific family focused app.
While I choose not to be active in social media, this app is different. It allows our family to communicate and connect in a private environment without the outside pressures of ‘friends’, ‘likes’ or generally trying to impress others. Given our kids are too often sucked into their phones, this app also allows us to check in with each of them to understand how they are feeling, what they are thinking and generally be aware what is going on in their lives.
I fully endorse this app and suggest every family give it a try. It is a great way to get closer to your family.

Connecting with my kids! ♥️

A private, safe place to connect on what matters. Having a social network just for our family encourages my kids to open up in ways they might not otherwise. It’s another way to connect with what’s really going on inside, and for us to be able to support and encourage one another. And when I get that notification on my phone that my kid checked in about how they are feeling, shared what they are grateful for, or that they have done a mediation or yoga session on their own — it’s just terrific. We’re all learning positive mental health habits - together!

Great Way to Connect with Kids

With so much tech in our lives it’s hard to feel connected to our kids and I’ve tried non-tech ways of bonding, but this is a great way to stay connected through the technology that we’re all so used to communicating in. Of course it doesn’t replace non-tech connection, but it’s an incredible way to quickly share thoughts, check in, have private quick exchanges and additionally there are great mindfulness resources. We’re enjoying it as a family and appreciative of the easy to use interface that we can all navigate simply.
