Made a few performance optimizations and fixed a bug in the Digital ID Card area that may have affected some of you.

This update brings the following improvements and fixes: Enhanced User Experience: The app logo is now visible more quickly on the launch screen for a smoother startup experience. Digital ID Convenience: For iPhone users, fixed a few problems with the Apple Wallet feature. Users will again be able to navigate from the Digital ID page to view their LA Blue digital identification within the Apple Wallet app. App Stability: Improved crash reporting and error logging Thank you for using BCBSLA App! We are constantly working to improve your experience.

Prior versions of the app will no longer be fully supported as of March 31st. Please update to the most current version in order to maintain app stability and full support.

Bug fixes and enhanced error logging

Updates - Check out the all-new provider search. Big changes here to bring a consistent provider search experience with the web portal. - Single Sign-On (SSO) is now enabled to help you get quicker access to the new provider search. Part of that process is a popup dialog asking "BCBSLA Want to Use bcbsla.com to Sign In". Not to worry, that is part of the SSO process and not used for anything else. - Help pages updated - You may see a short one-question survey. We truly appreciate all feedback and would love it if you'd give us yours

Bug fixes and incremental enhancements to current functionality.

It was a month of behind-the-scenes work with bug fixes and UX improvements in the Claims area and Provider search.

The My Claims page shows your claims going back 3 years. Now, with the Refine button, we've given you more control over which claims are shown. Let us know if there are other filters that you'd like to see. Members can now complete a digital Injury or Illness form within the app! The digital form eliminates the manual completion of the form and mailing the form. Look for it on the Forms page.

Digital ID cards are now available for Apple Wallet. Very important that you upgrade to this new version to get full access to this new feature. Note that it does not work if you have an older version of the app. The digital ID card lets members access their BCBSLA information from the Apple Wallet when the physical ID card isn’t easily accessible. Look for it on the My ID Card page. The main menu button for the app has received an upgrade! It is slightly larger and should be easier to use! The days of endless scrolling through hundreds and sometimes thousands of provider search results are over. In this release, we added paging functionality to the provider search results page. We hope this simplifies the search process for you.

This version contains a very important security update. It is recommended that all users of the BCBSLA mobile app update to the current version in order to maintain a secure browsing and working session.

Quick turnaround to fix a bug on the Claims details page that prevented the details from being shown. Thank you to the users who reported this to us. We really appreciate your feedback.

Happy New Year! In our first release of 2024, changes were made to fix an app crash when paging through claims. You can now scroll through up to 3 years of claims seamlessly. We also fixed the Providers map view where some of you may have been placed in a land far, far away. The map view now displays the correct location where the providers are located. Enjoy these updates!

As we close out the year, more updates and bug fixes have been made to improve your user experience. There were updates to align the mobile app more closely with the website portal. You can now view your last 3 years of claims in the mobile app as you can in the member portal. Additionally, we also added a 4-tier customization for a specialty network.

As promised, updates have been made to improve your user experience! We have repaired the pesky back button to make it easier to tap. This should help you when navigating between pages. Also, now you must acknowledge the Full Consent popup message only once when using the app.
