Love the concept but some flaws.

Love the idea. However, if it’s not available in all states, a list of where it is available should be easy to find.

Also, creation of an account or perhaps linking it with your phone number should be a thing. I was going to uninstall and reinstall the app when I had problems tracking trips but because it’s not account linked I’d be losing 200+ points.

Hey, SykoSeashell. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate all of your suggestions and we'll keep them in mind for future updates to the app. If you're still having trouble tracking trips, please feel welcome to reach us at trymyles@joinroot.com.

What’s it for?

It records cumulative mileage. I see no way to check daily miles or any reporting function at all. It’s an odometer with zero value.

Was invited to try the update. I am not sure what good this thing does for users. It appears they just want to capture where we go and how fast. I see zero value but they claim you earn points towards roadside help. Seems to be a very fishy app. You can’t even review what is being sent. I had hoped it would map where I’ve been but if it does only the developer can see it. I stick with my review. Zero user value.

I understand we earn points. I have aaa so no value to me. Allow us to share the data and overlay it on a map to create a historical record of where we drive and I will change my opinion. Giving you all my data without allowing me to also have it for a maybe roadside assistance is not a good trade.

Developer Response ,

Edit #2: Thanks for the additional feedback, legirons. We appreciate you taking the time to give the app a try.

Edit: Thanks for taking the time to update the app. To confirm, you can earn points towards free roadside assistance, so we find it quite valuable. Sorry for any disappointment and thanks again for your feedback.

Original Response: Hey, legirons. We've made quite a few updates since your review, and we hope you'll consider updating your app to check them out.
