Truly a Blessing...

This app is God sent! I don’t know how me, my mom and sister would have been able to keep up with all my brother’s meds, dosages times and what meds he has taken alreadyWithout this ingenious technology! Once I inputted all the prescribed drugs it was pretty intuitive. Being able to share the information in real time has enable both my mom and sister to access the app simultaneously . Although we experienced an unexpected glitch most likely caused by our limited tech savvy ability, I was able to contact the support team and they did a super job getting me and my mom back into my brother’s profile.The support team also gave me helpful tips to improve my experience using the app example showing me how to share the med list. If I could add anything to this app it would be the ability to input scheduled medical appointments under the profile and receive alerts as well allowing users to toggle between meds and scheduled appointments.Thanks again and kudos to the competent, efficient professional support team especially Robert.TS WillisHappy UserThanks again

I have had two cancers and a heart transplant. I take several meds, some of which if I miss taking my donor heart will go into rejection and I could die. I have the reminder feature set to remind me 3 times, once every 5 minutes, so it is pretty much dummy proof. It is so easy to keep an accurate record of my meds, including inserting a picture of each - real helpful because the same drug looks different depending on the manufacturer. This makes filling my weekly pill box (accurately) and sharing my med list with my nurses a breeze. I also use this app to manage the med list of my wife, and my 80 yr old mother and 81 yr old dad who live 4 hrs from me. I input their meds into the app and print or send them a copy. It is real easy to do and for them to follow. My wife is legally blind and needs a magnifier to read, my mother has onset of dementia and my father has an aortic aneurysms and is my mother’s caregiver. Couldn’t do without it...wouldn’t try to do without it!

The ‘but’ is for the touchy slider switches. If I don’t hit it just right, it either just goes back to being un-slid or shows me the detail of the med. it usually takes a couple of tries to actually slide the switch and select it as taken. Other than that, this is a highly useful app. Update: I used this app for years and was even impressed that they ultimately corrected the issue with the touchy slider switches. I had to stop using this app when it stopped doing all I needed it to do (a reminder every 10 days to take one medication). When I contacted the developer, they confirmed it wouldn’t do what I needed and I was offered no workaround or hope that this might change. I found that my phone’s calendar app could do this so I thought this response was lame. Not wanting to have two apps giving me pill reminders, I found another app that can handle all of my dosing requirements. Downgrading my stars and switching.

AlanMeds
MMS+ helps me keep track of and take my medications. It is very helpful and the customer service is excellent. If you contact them with a problem they immediately respond and walk you through the steps to resolve your problem. I would recommend this App to anyone taking medication especially at different times of the day. I would also recommend this App to caregivers or children of elderly parents. I had this App installed on my father’s phone, and when he suddenly got dizzy and passed out I was able to get onto his phone and find out what medicine he had taken to tell the first responders. I highly recommend this App and suggest that you tell your physician about it so he can tell all of his patients about it.
