This app is great if you just want to do a quick search with out getting on your PC. But that’s about all it’s good for. There’s zero access to your library. I get that I’m not going to be downloading STL files to my phone for printing, but it would be nice to take a look at what all I have. My other big issue is any time I tap a link to My Mini Factory in a browser or email, it tries to launch in the app. The issue I have with that is it only tries. The app will open and it will just sit and spin like it’s loading, but nothing ever loads. I also have to mention that I can’t always find stuff I should be able to. Like if it’s a campaign from a Kickstarter, unless the seller has it listed just for general sale it won’t pop up in the app when you search. So if you want to late back something, you can’t do it here. If these issues were fixed it would be a great app.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I have tried using this app for a long time and I am disappointed every time. You can’t even search through things half the time. It will just sit in an infinite loading screen. If I click on a link in my email, it goes to the app and an infinite loading screen. Oh look! Tribe released new post! *clicks link* infinite loading screen! Emails for cool models *clicks link* infinite loading screens! The app does not work and has barely any features that support the platform as a whole. I wish links in the email, just took me to the website on my phone, since this app is so useless.

This app functions poultry at best. The search functionality is inconsistent, the location of features within the app doesn’t make intuitive sense, and the ability to like or follow content also seems to be hit or miss as far as the app actually recognizing you’ve done so. There are some amazing content creators on this platform if you can brave the functionality of the app to find them.

The reason I got this app was so that when I get an email saying “so-and-so has a new post” or “new item in library”, I can quickly view it. The app does not allow you to view your library, not do anything with Tribes. This app is worse than useless, since now that I try to open up MyMiniFactory on safari it only opens the app, which refuses to show me what I’m asking for. I don’t have this app to look at random stl files, I have it to look at MY files and tribes.
