Poor security design

I have 53 apps on my iPhone that were installed via the App Store. These apps all use the face recognition built into the iPhone. Two of these apps are GigaLife and MySmartPLDT. They are the only two apps that are not designed properly for face recognition. After 24 hours on ether app you must login with phone number and password and face recognition won’t allow logon. Of the 53 apps 5 are apps with banks and financial institutions. I have reported this numerous times and it is very frustrating. Apps with exposure to many thousands of dollars have properly implemented face recognition security, but smart has not. If there was any option other than these two apps that was text based I would use them.

App no longer functions

As usual with Philippine telecom/wireless/internet companies, they have shut the app down, and have not given any option to be able to manage myPLDT prepaid home WiFi any longer. And of course there is no way to contact them as there is no customer service department. Apple needs to remove this app and any others from Smart or PLDT, as they are poorly run 3rd world companies only interested in taking peoples money

Sub par app from the nation’s leading telecommunications company. What a cliché

App is poorly designed, lacks continuity, lacks required instructions, leaving the user to figure out how to get around the app or how to complete a task on their own.

For instance, to view an ebill, turns out the ebills are password protected. Yet, as a new customer, I have not received instructions on how the password were set. Hence, good luck with that!

We're here to help, D.ss. Perform the basic troubleshooting steps: 1. Exit MyPldtSmart App and try to reset your password again. 2. Ensure that the MyPldtSmart App version is up to date. 3. Turn off and on the device to refresh. ​4. Uninstall and reinstall the app as needed. Then try to do the sign-in process.
