They are visible above all other applications, even in full screen. • Mouse Locator reveals the mouse position with a gently animated or static ring. - Customization: Momentary, permanent, animated, static, tunnel vision assistant. Colors, opacity, size, thickness. Show mouse buttons. Custom image as a replacement for the classic ring locator. - Activation: Hotkey combination. Single modifier key. Mouse gesture. Mouse crosses between screens. Mouse hits screen borders. Mouse moves after a period of inactivity. Mouse click & drag. • Crosshair displays two thin lines across the mouse position. Visible on all or mouse screen. Customizable performance, gauge, color, bi-color, transparency, center, and offset from the mouse. • Grille displays grille by horizontal and vertical lines. Visible on all or mouse screen. Two modes: Follow mouse and Pin. Customizable gauge, aperture, color, transparency, offset from the mouse. Hotkeys to change aperture size. Five origin points to calculate cursor position: left top, left bottom, right bottom, right top, and custom. Set custom origin by hotkey. Move the mouse cursor to the origin point by hotkey. Input panel to set precisely mouse position. Coordinates ruler: measure the size while dragging with the mouse. Copy current coordinates to the clipboard. Customizable format, appearance, and behavior. • Heavy Shade allows you to adjust the brightness of your monitors. The tool doesn't fiddle with display settings - it places translucent layers on top of the desktop and other applications. Dim all monitors with all-screens shade. Additional per screen shade for up to eight monitors. Customizable shade levels and colors. Not limited shade level: up to 100%. Safety timeout: total shading above 90% is treated as heavy and decreases after the timeout elapsed. Change the shade level without leaving the active application - via hotkeys or from a menu in the menu bar extras. Dim other screens at 100% black except the mouse screen. Eye care: the shade will fade in and fade out in a specified timeout. Shade assistant will track active applications and will toggle the shade automatically depending on user preferences. • Mouse Halo is a permanent image around the mouse cursor. The classic halo is a ring surrounding the cursor. However, any image can be used as a halo source. Even more, the image can be positioned aside from the cursor. Activate via hotkeys or the app menu. Customize size, opacity, rotation, position. Organize preferred halos in a halo set. Preinstalled halo pack. Free online halo gallery. Unlimited user created halos. General features. Mouse Halo works fine for me

I purchased this utilty because I wanted a halo around my mouse pointer and I didn’t want to take a chance on any of the utilities with reported reliability or lack of support problems. Download and installation were painless, as expected. Only Halo and Locator are enabled by default so pressing Opt-Cmd-/ turns on the default halo and pressing and releasing the Ctl key activates the default locator graphic. All of the supported functions appear to be very configurable. Creating, attaching, and configuring my own halo graphic was simple (I’m reasonbly proficient at basic Photoshop operations.) One tip: you can use a .jpg file as a custom Halo graphic, but if you want part of the graphic to be transparent, it wil lhave to be in a a .png file. I like that a menu bar icon allows access to the control program. I have not enabled or used Crosshair, Grille, Coordinates, or Heavy Shade so I can’t comment on them. All in all I’m pleased with this utility; it reliably does what I want it to, with a minimum of fuss and cognitive load.

I've set the app's options to momentarily surround my "missing" cursor with an animated and colorful halo whenever I press the [control] key. The halo flashes three fimes and then I'm back to work, knowing precisely where my cursor is. The app has many more features, but the cursor locator (mouse locator) is an essentail accessibility tool.

this app has EVERY feature I have been looking for to help me with multiple monitors.problem: my mouse is lost on 1 of 7 screens…solved.problem: my monitors are too bright at night…solved.I have it configured so that I hit a hotkey and all my monitors EXCEPT my projector are dimmed.I have it configured so that anytime the mouse goes across monitor boundaries an effect happens and I can located the mouse.I have it configured so that the mouse has a “halo” around it.this app is for POWER users.
