Highlights - Drastically improved load times when navigating the app on mobile, with reduced bandwith consumption. - Characters now have profile dimensions—Core, Image, Social, Intimacy, Conflict, Emotion, Agency, Principles, and Tensions—that guide editing, Coach, and publish readiness. - Resolved an issue where minted Characters created during play were always Male. - The AI Agent can now help refine World and Story cover photos with you. - Stories can now activate more organically, instead of waiting a fixed amount of time. - Characters can now carry lasting physical and mental conditions. Updates - Story covers are now 16:9 instead of square. - Concept cards and World covers use a refreshed style with more saturated color and stronger contrast. Quality of Life - On Character, Story, and World edit screens, the Coach dock and composer scroll more reliably. - Text areas are now larger on mobile, so there’s more room to type. - Coach photo generation shows progress (“Generating Photo”) while the image is being made. Behind the Scenes - The Director can now retrieve memory and Library entries as needed, instead of only at the start of a turn. Bug Fixes - Story covers should no longer be blurry globs of grey. - Declining a World cover draft waits for the decline to finish before responding. - Covers, thumbnails, and portraits are less likely to go missing when catalog image IDs are incomplete—the app can fall back to the expected catalog path. - Story thumbnail and cover jobs load World data more reliably in the background workers.

Quality of Life - Portraits are now optional for new Lives, with a new skip button. - You can tap on a World name in a Character or Story to jump to it. - You can now open a Character’s card from the Circle menu. Assistant - The Assistant can now help refine photo generation for Stories and the Library. - Proposals are much smaller after you accept or decline them. - Proposals can now be consistently regenerated. - Proposed Faction affiliations are no longer showing as IDs. Behind the Scenes - Player message history increased substantially. - Pruned unused fields from Locations and Stories. - Rebalanced Context window budgets for Atlas and Vector models. Bug Fixes - Accepting the Agent’s changes to a Character’s Circle should not persist properly. - Characters are no longer forced to live in their frequent Locations. - Highlights on hair blend a bit better into dark colors. - Optional Ads should show again for users outside the US. - Encountering a Character will no longer override Circle relations. - Publish buttons should no longer be disabled when you have pending changes.

This release is a massive overhaul of the platform, with too many changes to list. A few highlights: HIGHLIGHTS - Chat is free for all users (No more ads for chat), with premium users having access to more complex models, more context and expanded memory slots. - Myrlo has expanded into multiple worlds, with their own settings, stories, characters and lore. - You can now create temporary personas for stories on the fly. - Creator tools for characters and stories, with an AI Agent to help refine your ideas. - Chats now support multiple characters at once with a dynamic cast system. - Memories can now carry over across stories, with a rumor system. - You can now search stories and characters, with semantic search. - Faster photo generation, and much faster text generation. - You can now save Stories and Characters to find them more easily. - A new mission system so all users can earn fragments for photos and other features.

Studio Pass users can now manage multiple Personas! We've also added a "news and updates" section to let you know when we have new stories, updates to old ones, or planned maintenance.
