My friend who is a Lifetime Gold Member was able to install and use the updated app with the navigation without any issues. I'm also a Lifetime Gold Member and I when downloaded the update with the navigation, when I went to use it it wanted me to buy another subscription. My question is why was my friend able to start using the navigation and I cannot.

The app is showing a lot of promise and is continually improving. However, it simply is not there yet. And as such, the reason for the review rating at this moment in time. The app appears to be largely European based, and it also seems that as a result, it’s functions tend to lean that direction. Impactful issues, such as high battery drain and small fonts make it difficult. It struggles to show gas stations and if it does, the icon is so small it isn’t recognizable. The ability to add a stop when the app is in use is non existent. It’s ability to show upcoming traffic issues/slowdowns is very much lack packing - they are there, but the lines/colors tend to get hidden by the route line itself, and when these issues do appear, it’s too late to adjust the route anyway. Even if you could adjust, it simply wants to put you back on the same route after it has recalculated anyway. Not ready to give up on it by any stretch, waiting for improvements to be made where it truly can rival the big guns like Google and Apple.

Thanks for your elaborate feedback!The upcoming 4.0.5 update includes quite some improvements you will enjoy.Adding fuel stations along your route is added along with adding other stops you choose.It is true that we are European based. We are constantly improving and hope you will enjoy the app more and more over time.

Almost perfect, except…

I’ve used several navigation apps for planning motorcycle rides. Calimoto seemed good but the web planner is slow and navigation fails if you miss a waypoint. Scenic has been great but has no web planner. I tried Rever 3 times and just never liked it. Then I found MyRoute-app, and it checked all the boxes, and I love the navigation - except for one thing. The font for distance to the next turn is way too small - this is a real issue when on a motorcycle and I only want to glance at my navigation but instead have to look down and focus to see how far to my next turn. Fix that and it will be perfect in my book.

I am far from a techno guy and I found MRA simple to use.Much easier than any of “famous” programming tools.Watch the instructional videos a couple of times and you’re on your way.
