Works fine on recent iMac, enjoyable (if annoyingly acted)
I didn’t have any problems installing and running this one on a relatively recent iMac. Upgrading to the paid version was no problem either.
The game is relatively entertaining, despite easy gameplay and annoyingly overacted characters in video cutaways. Not great, but better than average for a typical supernatural mystery with a lot of hidden-object sequences.
I’ve been playing Big Fish games on my iPad for a year and this was my first hidden object/mystery game on my MacBook Pro running Yosemite and it worked great. Tons of fun! I loved the live-action human element. Lea Thompson from Back To The Future! Are you kidding me? How awesome is that?! She’s a babe too. The story was great, the mystery was great, and the hidden object scenes were great. It was kind of difficult and about 3 times I had to go to the online walkthrough to get past an area but that’s normal for me. I really enjoyed this game a lot!
I loved the free part of the game so I purchased the whole game. However, as soon as I continue my game, it takes me to the hotel and there is no inventory bar or any way to move or get out of that screen. I clicked on the quary option in the menu (the extra level) and it has the same issue. Just the screen with no inventory or arrows to move. This is definitly a bug. Don't waste your money.
