Archaic app & unethical business practice

Should be zero stars!!This app won’t let me see my bills. It’s not user friendly and really is archaic. There’s enough money in Kynect to spend on an app that is modern. Even going to the paperless billing setting doesn’t have any options to choose or even view what is currently set on my account. I’m not impressed with this company. And I have to set up two different log ins for the app and the stream website, according to a stream supervisor I just talked to. How inconvenient is that?! First bill never got sent to us. They shut off power with no notice in 115* in Texas summer!!!! NO NOTICE!! Was off for well over 12 hours. Then guess what? We received the shut off notice 8 days after scheduled shut off date!!!! Today, I received email saying the bill is past due but never received an actual BILL...2nd time!!!!!!!!! I’m supposed to represent Stream and sell your energy but I can’t stand behind this unethical business practice. Buyer beware.

It would be really helpful if I could actually sing in to pay my bills. Or at least when I call and let them know that the app and website are down someone has contacted their IT department about it. It’s ridiculous that I can’t see my usage or bill before I pay it now because I went paperless. When you go to sign in it shuts down the app or brings up a blank white page on the website. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and hard reset my phone. when you call customer support they don’t care and don’t help at all. Quite literally told me I can either take your payment over the phone or make a note on your account. Your not customer service your company service.

App is as useless as the service

The Stream Energy app has NEVER, not one time worked since I started services in October 2019. On my bill I am supposed to be on a 12 month fixed rate but I am also charged a base charge for some reason. The customer service line is a joke & I literally had a manager (Maria) laugh at an issue I had. I have NEVER had a bill under $80 & the only thing I use gas for is the water & heat in the winter. So if you can avoid it don’t waste your time with this company, their useless app or customer service agents. Crooks!
