Superb Customer Service and Protection

I haven’t had an actual bank account in a few years due to experiencing trauma that unfortunately turned my entire world upside down and having this particular bank as the first one since then has been an extremely wise choice as their customer service is absolutely wonderful and the security measures in place to protect your personal data and account information is superb!! Not to mention how easy it is to navigate and utilize the app with it’s design and functionality in an uncluttered, smooth operating experience!!

In addition, the security measures in place will have you feeling completely confident that you and all your personal info and hard earned money are absolutely safe and secure!! I definitely recommend using Trustmark Bank and their excellent app for all your banking needs where you will find the friendliest and most helpful people in person at every location and have access to their banking services that’ll make your banking experience one you’ll never want to live without again!!

Review of Trustmark Bank and its app

I have been banking with Trustmark for over 10 years and had in previous years as well.

I have never had any problems with my account that I didn’t get straightened out with just a phone call, no visit to the bank needed. The branch manager even called me one when they found a mistake by a teller. She had entered one wrong number and had deposited money into my account accidentally. They called, the same day, to tell me they had caught the error but had corrected it. They didn’t want me seeing it on a statement or on the app that money was deposited and deducted the same day. And it was for a deposit I did not make. I truly appreciated their call and therefore didn’t get upset when I saw there was something posted and deducted that was not supposed to be on my account.

I also love the phone bank app and use it many times during the week since I’m on a fixed income and money gets very tight.

Easy breezy

I have a BUNCH of accounts on my app and it’s crazy convenient. Transfer funds, pay credit cards and crap ALL the time. Sweep money into the money market account every time I have a few extra bucks in checking. The message thing is SO responsive (even when the answer causes me angst). I have several bank apps. All are pretty good, but this one is just a little easier, a little more comprehensive, a little faster. Not a ton. But enough to make me love it more than the others. Message thingy: Keys to the kingdom. One hitch. Sometimes the Face ID randomly switches off and you have to type in credentials. Annoying.

App Does Not Allie Certain Critical Capabilities

The Trustmark app does not allow certain critical capabilities the end user needs in a mobile app. Moreover, finding the capabilities it does allow is not as intuitive as it should be and even lands the end user in a predicament in which he can’t even be sure if his intentions are going to take place. As a quick example, when one enters the payment or “bill payment” option to create a second payment to a vendor, the end user has to click on the pending payment (as if he wants to edit or change the pending payment, itself) in order to create a new payment to that vendor. That leaves the end user wondering if he deleted or even changed the pending payment or if he really did create another, separate pending payment to that same vendor. And as far as I know, there is no way to alter a pending payment that has not yet progressed into the active time period of sending the payment out.

“I’ve used two other banks and this one is hands down the easiest app to use”

Once you get all signed up (and that’s not a difficult thing to do. And the bank is great if you do get stuck.) It becomes just a matter of learning any peculiarities. When we added another account that we wanted to be able to view, I got scared I was going to do the wrong thing trying to pull it up into view. So I called the bank and they walked me right through it. I tend to make problems when there aren’t any. I’ve used two other banks and this one is hands down the easiest app to use.

Great app

This app is very reliable and super handy to do all of your banking. I’ve not had a single problem or issue with it and I have used every option and feature of it. Who needs direct deposit when you can deposit your check using your phone instantly. Transfers of funds between accounts is instant. I had a charge rejected due to lows funds in checking and was able to transfer funds from savings to checking while still standing at the checkout in less than a 30 seconds.

Wish: Debit card FRAUD cancellation notices

I was out of town for Thanksgiving & ran to the grocery for my aging parents. At checkout, my debit card was DECLINED with a full load of groceries bagged & long line behind me. Tried 3 times… nope. I don’t have any CC b/c I’m working on getting out of CC debt. True… I should have gotten cash out before a trip, but just ran out bc of time. My wish… card had been cancelled due to fraud alert. My app said nothing about this. Maybe a text “message” can be sent to our apps- we can access that real time to find out problem. Traditional mail had been sent- but letter had not been opened, sitting in a pile on my desk at home. Thanks for considering

Stop Payment not working

I love the banking app , it allows me to keep up with all transactions on a daily basis which helps me stay in control of my finances …..I’ve placed some of my debtors in a consolidation program and all are paid through Alleviate Financial-but one of them Jora Credit keeps debiting my account on every payday …I’ve paid two stop payment fees (one for ach debit and one for check
But two check payments have gotten through
I feel that the stop payments are not working so I’ll probably close this account if one more check gets through…thank You

Online account lacking vital support

Lack many features that are now available at most larger banks. I loved Trustmark and trusted my personal banking but it’s just not the same and I cannot keep up with all of my finances via you online lesser services.
I’m sorry but must close my account and stay with Regions. They’ve been there for the almost 20 years since I had to make the sad and difficult choice to leave Trustmark but you cannot offer the customer support, and locations once I moved out of MS. Good luck in you future upgrades to your online app and growing your locations. I travel extensively so I must stay with Regions. They’re everywhere.

I am a returning new customer to Trustmark and let me tell you now I remember why I left.

This capitalist bank that lives off the money of the poor is now forcing me to agree to the terms of Trustmark.

I signed all necessary documents upon opening the account and now you Trustmark want me to do it again holding up my ability to view my account.

Let me also tell you that since my account opening you force me to agree to your rules on on your stated time at your filthy banks alter.

You did not mention that you would wave my new customer fee if I chose not to agree with your new terms after I already signed all documents.

This Trustmark policy is predatory at best and I am very glad I did not close my favorite bank Chase.

You see in the end it’s the consumers choice to decide and stop doing any business with Trustmark and I will begin this evening withdrawing my money back to my bank.

Same ole Trustmark with policies that far back to 1960’s First National Bank.

You forced me today to accept so I can view account online.
