MYX offers an extensive range of workouts focusing on the elements of strength, endurance, mobility, balance and calm. We even bring these elements together in a cross training category to make it easy to combine 2+ of these movements in one workout.

Our coaches help you get the results you want by using three simple heart rate zones to guide you. Your zones are customized based on your individual MYX Score, our patented measurement used to periodically assess your cardiovascular fitness level.

The MYX zones show you exactly how hard you’re working. Exercising in all three zones will ensure that you work out not just for calorie burn, but also for recovery and healthy, sustainable results.

Our coaches focus on positive reinforcement to keep you motivated to achieve your goals. All of our coaches are certified heart rate performance specialists.

They’re leaders in health, fitness, and professional dance and many have been featured on national networks and in publications such as ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX, TEDx, Vogue, Shape, Glamour and more.

“I’m in the best shape of my life because of MYX. The trainers are so great and real that I look forward to seeing them. I feel like they are my friends and understand how I think.” - Penny W.

“I have a 15-month old and own a business, so free time is scarce for me. It’s like having a personal trainer in my house and having the option to select 15/20/30/45 minute workouts is amazing. It actually motivates me to workout even when I know I have a limited window to do so.” - Liz B.

“The app is really easy to use. The instructors are good at explaining the workouts and keeping the energy up. I love the variety in my workouts. I never get bored.” - Mark M.

Bike & Programs = Awesome; App = getting there

Love love love the bike and the various programs offered. I am hoping the app and the profile information continues to be enhanced. I like the myx score and badges but I can’t really find them or much about the data anywhere on the app or bike, just the history of classes taken. It would be great to see more data about my workouts and fitness level though this.

Love the bike, mediocre app/software

Overall I have loved my MYX experience. I’m in better shape than I’ve been in a long time. Despite having small children at home, the variety and intensity of my workout routine have both increased, and I’m having fun!

However, the software and app are just clunky and not user friendly past your first few workouts. After each activity, you are asked to rank the coach and difficulty level, but this information must be just for them, because it has no effect on what I see. It would be so much better if on the home screen each workout had MY information beside. How many times have I done it? What did I rank it? Or, simply, have I even tried it once before? It seems crazy that this info is not saved.

Luckily, I believe this would be easy to fix with a software update. Please, MYX people, get on it!

New Update messes up activity tracking.

The new update messed up activity tracking. I did a 45 minute yoga session. It pushed my calories burned to the health app, but compounded how many I burned. So normally the app should push calories burned every minute. So if I burn 5 calories a minute, after ten minutes it would say 50 calories. But currently, it adds the total every minute. So if the first minute I burn 5, the second minute it shows I burned 10 more. The third minute shows I burned 15 more. The fourth minute shows I burned 20 more for a total of 80 calories in 4 minutes. I completely messed up my calorie tracking for my activity app and showed I burned over 5800 calories in 45 minutes. This needs to be fixed before I’ll pair the app with the health data again. Other than that, the app is fine.
