Ratings and Reviews
Your Overall Quality Reflects in the App
To management: just look at the rating for goodness sake. It has been like that for months. What does that tell your customers? When it comes to the app, if you’re not willing to put in time and effort, and you are willing to give your customers something halfway-developed, don’t even bother. Leaving it up and not fixing it just shows us all where the company’s priorities are! It says to everyone, “Ziply doesn’t care about customers, they care about financial targets. Ziply obviously considers this app’s development, and ultimately a customer’s valuable time and overall experience, a variable cost that can be kept down, and we do not care as long as they pay us on time every month.” Now, either that is true, or maybe you hired a bad developer who took your money and left you with this pile, who knows. But next fiscal year, since this obviously wasn’t in 2023’s budget, you should really do yourselves a favor and **fix your app**. This just looks bad, and won’t help your company grow at all.
Not a good start with ziply
Ever since Ziply acquired Frontier, I’ve had multiple issues. My first payment made to ziply was paid (confirmed payment was processed with bank) however, they have no record that I made the payment. In fact, now they are charging me for two months of payments (previous month and current) plus an additional late fee. After over 45 minutes on the phone with their customer service, the rep said she would need to submit a request to their billing department for resolution and that I should be receiving an email with instructions on submitting a copy of my bank statement showing that payment was made. It’s been about a week and still no email. I downloaded the myziply app thinking that I can access my account to see if this was resolved without having to go through calling again but, their app crashes every time I try to set up an account. While their actual internet service has been fine so far, their backend accounting and user infrastructure has been abysmal. Please fix this ziply and stop wasting my time!!!
Ziply Fiber vs Frontier
I regretted switching from Xfinity to Frontier but I was looking for ways to save money. I was instantly annoyed by how slow my internet connection was and the many times it was disconnected during important circumstances. I’ve had numerous problems with Frontier cancelling my service because they “accidentally” lost my payment and several problems with watching live tv. Now that Frontier became Ziply, I am even more frustrated to find out I can’t watch shows that I’ve recorded or even live tv from my phone using an app. While the Frontier app wasn’t nearly as efficient as Xfinity’s, I was still able to watch live television, recorded shows and even on demand from the convenience of my phone. Ziply doesn’t offer this. Instead they offer ways you can pay to stream. I don’t want to pay more money to stream when I was trying to save money in the first place. I am so disappointed with my cable company and I can’t even believe how much money I spend on a monthly basis and not be happy with my service.
