nAble Health Patient Portal facilitates communication between patients and their doctors. Patients can use this App to Schedule Appointments, View Lab Results, Send and Receive Secure Messages, View and Sign Consent Forms, View Education Materials, View Vitals Records, Pay Online*, and Update Insurance and Demographic information including photos of their insurance cards and themselves. Patient can also use this app to do Telemedicine Video Call* with their provider. HOW TO USE: After downloading the App, use the Doctor search to locate your provider by Clinic name or Doctor name, then enter your nAble Patient Portal User Name and Password to sign in. New Users: Patients who would like to make an appointment with an nAble clinic may do so by sending a request for an appointment by either searching the physician by name or by clinic. KEY FEATURES: • Make appointments in real time • Review lab results, vitals, and medications • View encounter summaries • Request prescription refills • Send and receive secure messages between patient and clinic staff • Upload patient photo for the clinic's record • Update insurance information, including photos of the insurance card • Update contact information • View outstanding balances and Pay Online* • Patient Education & Instructions • View and Sign patient Consent Forms • Telemedicine Video Call* • Faster Login using Touch ID or Face ID * Please contact clinic if this feature is available

Send text messages with push notifications

This app is fine so long as you’re logged in & looking at it. I never get a notification (despite having push notifications turned on) unless I have or am in the app already. It’s ridiculous & therefore useless bc then I have to check the app for critical info updates anyway. There’s zero reason for it to be so inefficient. I rarely can find what I’m looking for. There should be SMS text notifications sent during every single notification that happens in the app as well, but that doesn’t happen. I cannot wait to not have to use this & have to depend on this thing. FIX YOUR PUSH NOTIFICATIONS. What a useless app. The whole point of push notifications being on is that it is supposed to show up & alert me when I have messages. NEVER ONCE has this happened unless I am INSIDE the app. Absolutely useless. I hate this. It’s caused me errors in our treatment cycles bc your tech says it’s going to do things that it doesn’t do. Do better. Do basic parts of your offering.

That’s the highest praise I can give it. Regularly freezes, face recognition only works some of the time and often all face recognition capabilities on my phone stop working after using this app and only work again after restarting. Messages intermittently go through; make sure you get a “your message has been sent” screen before going back to the main messages list. Notifications are not very customizable, I have to wait until I get an email notification to know that I have a new message. There has to be a better option out there than this.

Messaging in this app and on the browser is antiquated. It shows a series of messages rather than threads, like the early 2000s text message applications. Sign in is very frustrating, especially when using a password manager since the name of the app is not the same as the name of the application maker. The app frequently signs me in and out.

This app and their web portal is just awful.To healthcare service providers: please get off this system or make them improve itTo patients: avoid this system if you can, run don’t walkProblems, amongst many:- It loads incorrect documents- It timestamps financial quotes incorrectly- It often fails to send messages, and other times double sends messages- Messages are not threaded so referencing past information is difficult- Messages have no cc functionality so keeping information in sync with your partner is very difficult- Messages require you to choose a recipient from a dropdown menu, of which most options are not relevant to you, making it extremely error prone- The list goes on…Worst of all, in aggregate, these bugs and shortcomings meaningfully increase the likelihood of misunderstandings and mistakes that, given the medical/financial nature of the product, can be very problematic and costly.Please, do better. Patients deserve it.
