This brilliantly simple timer puts an end to late meetings, burnt dinners and forgotten phone calls - for any short term nudge, memory jogger or for keeping on task - Nag is all you need!
Loved by its iPhone users - there's no quicker way to set an alarm or timer than Nag! A single button press sets a nagging alarm that will jog your memory over and over. People use Nag for informal reminders - going to lunch, returning phone calls, collecting the kids - whatever you need to make sure you remember!
Nag's novel controls let you press a single button to set an alarm at the top of the hour, or at a set time away - eg. in 5 minutes time, or an hour from now. If you want to finely tune the alarm time, then simply press the buttons again to add more minutes to the time.
When your alarm time comes, Nag will sound its alarm. If you don't stop the alarm, Nag will remind you until you acknowledge and stop the alarm.
For advocates of the 'Getting Things Done' or 'GTD' time management methodology Nag's quick, easy and flexible alarm setting makes it effortless to keep on task.
With great graphics, sound effects and customisable reminder message, alert tones and nagging times, Nag is a flexible tool that will become an essential part of your productivity arsenal.

Works but not a "Nag" at all.
This app alerts you with a sound alert only. There is no notification like the iPhone. There also isn't a bouncy icon in the tray on the Mac. What I dislike the most is that the alert noise isn't "nagging" at all. Ironicly you can't "nag" yourself more than once a minute. Therefore making this app an alert not a nag. Allow this app. to sound the alarm in incriments under 1min. such as every 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 secs. then this app. will more likely seem like a "nag". Also allow for custom tones rather than the standard non nagging ones. Maybe one's that yell loud or argue with you… this would seem more like "nagging". All in all the app. works like it says, you can name the "nag" and set a tone from the default choices and sound alerts in increments of 1min and higher between each alert. But other than that this app isn't "nagging" at all.
one silly bug
I really like it. The key to a timer is to be able to set it quickly. I use this for The Pomodoro Technique, but it also has the flexbility for when I decide to write for an hour without going online or spend 20 minutes processing email.
My problem. It has a top of the hour button to nag you at the top of the next hour, whenever that is. It also has a 1 hour button to time you for an hour. On mine the 1 hour button sets the alarm for the top of the hour as well instead of for 60 minutes. So I just hit 30 min twice if I want an hour. Small thing, but I can’t give it 5 starts because of this.
Needs visual silent alarm
Visual alarms are much much better than sound alarms. And they should stay on the screen in case you're away when it occurs. And it should use Growl as a supplementary notification. And this app should live in the menubar, not in the dock.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
