Simple, no frills, but exactly what I needed and haven’t been able to find anywhere else! I wanted a visual, real-time representation of vocal pitch to help voice students better recognize when they are singing sharp or flat.Haven’t jumped into the pro version yet but so far this app does exactly what it says it will do!Love seeing how the current version incorporates [*reasonable*] feedback from previous reviewers; evidence of considerate and attentive developers who care about their product and users.

I’ve been working on extending my range and this app is perfect (after you pay for the unlock to be able to hear yourself). One request - when playing back audio, can you have left/right swiping allow you to scroll forward and back in the recording? Perhaps just jumping to wherever the user lets go? Otherwise it’s kinda hard to hear a section multiple times or skip over the boring parts of a recording :)

Edit: Developer responded and increased the range that the app can register. I sang up to F6 just now to make sure (it couldn’t register anything above C5 before without bugging out) and it registering the notes just fine. Much better now with that fix!Good app unless you can sing in the 5th register or higher. It has a lot of trouble detecting higher notes. I’d say anything above C5 doesn’t register a lot of the time. It especially doesn’t register notes in the 6th register.

In a voice session my coach instructed me to get this app and I discovered it didn’t allow me to scroll back in history there was an upgrade button that said it would allow looking at history but even after I paid for it, it did not allow scrolling back into history. I feel scammed and my coach felt terrible about what happened.There’s also no way in app to report bugs that I could find. Deeply frustrating experience.

Good app but automatic note jumping up and down is very annoying. Make a setting to disable automatic up and down movement. This is very disturbing and distracting. Noise gate level Exposed to the maximum does not help, moving away from the microphone does not help either. there are still micro jumps of notes if you pull a note for a long time, and the sound has at least a couple of percent bring artifacts like rasp or airiness or just micro crackle of ligaments. Like fry

I couldn’t find any other app that plots pitch on a keyboard with notes like this one! Nicely done! All of them plot your pitch in hertz, and are missing the notes entirely, or they make you match a note that the app plays. This app is a great way to practice if you already know or have the sheet music for the vocals from a song.
