Nando’s is always great
Consistent very good, we have loved Nando’s for years now. Love the backstory. Love the taste, love the portion size. Today’s order is my son’s #1 choice for his 21st birthday lunch. He has been looking forward to it for two days. And my two vegetarian daughters love their options here too.
App could use some updates
The app used to be one of my favorite apps for ordering but today it was almost impossible to use. First there’s no way to order fries just by themselves as a side. This matters BECAUSE I was unable to modify my sandwich unless I only had a sandwich and no side. When I went to click on the option for sandwich and side, the “modify your sandwich” dropmenu completely disappears. Very annoying. Also all the drinks aren’t available when you click add drink. Made it super hard to order my food that I got frustrated and just went somewhere else on my lunch break. I like to order through the app cause I only get a 20 min break and it takes like 20 mins after you order to get the food :/
Garbage App - no way to provide life-threatening allergy info
This app is absolute trash. Whoever signed off on it should be looking for a new job, and subject to a lawsuit by anyone harmed by allergens.
There is no way to provide information on allergens or any instruction notes at all. That forces you to have to try to call the store after placing an online order and trying to catch them before the kitchen starts making the order. If the store is busy, that’s impossible. And orders can’t be canceled from the app.
I have on several occasions had to drive to a store just to cancel an order I placed through the app because I couldn’t get them allergy info in time.
Also, there is no way to specify curbside pickup. I’ve actually gotten yelled at by a Nando’s employee who was indignant that I didn’t tell them on the order that it was a curbside pickup, and she would not accept my telling her that it’s not possible.
I like Nandos food, but until this app is replaced or COVID is over, I’m DONE with them. It’s just worth the trouble. Congrats, you’ve lost a customer because of a garbage app implementation.
