NAS Download Manager, a complimentary mobile application, is expertly designed by a Synology user specifically for fellow Synology users, aimed at effectively managing downloads on Synology NAS devices.
Key features are:
• Presenting a list of NAS downloads
• Display detailed information on each download process
• Open links from Safari using Share menu
• Open magnet links from any browser
• Easy to add or remove downloads
• Sort and filter downloads
• Change downloads' properties
• Display detailed system information for the NAS itself and VPN connection status (Admin rights for account required)
• Display and change the key settings of Download Station application
• Access to the NAS using the DDNS service (whitelisted IP-address required)
• Access to the NAS using QuickConnect
• Two-factor authentication supported
• BT Search
• RSS
What user rights are required for use:
• Access to Download Station – required
• Access to File Station – optional, to select the download folder. Please note that the user must have the default download folder set, otherwise tasks will not be added. You can set the default folder from the application in the Download Station settings (if you have access to File Station), or through the web version of Download Station in the settings.
• Administrator rights – optional. If the user has administrator rights, access to NAS system information such as VPN connection status, disk information, etc. will be available. In addition, a user without administrator rights can only see their own downloads. Downloads created by other users will not be displayed
All personal data is stored on your iPhone only. There is no collection of any data, including anonymised.
Synology NAS with DSM version 6.0+ and Download Station installed are required. Some features may only be available for Download Station version 4.0 or later.

Hello everyone! Here’s what’s new in this version:
• Added a task queue counter to the main screen’s navigation bar
• Optimized NAS integration – everything now works smoothly even with over 100 tasks. We tested it with up to 300 tasks
• Introduced an option to set the NAS polling interval (for advanced users)
• Added support for entering multiple URLs when creating a new task. Each URL should be on a new line
• Added support for RSS feeds
Many users have noticed that the browser extension stopped working in iOS 18. This is because, starting from this version, extensions can no longer open apps directly. Now, you’ll need to switch to the app manually, and the download will start automatically. On the plus side, you can now copy multiple links, and when you open the app, all tasks will be created at once.

Awesome For Torrenting!
The app is so convenient to add torrents and monitor their progress. But two things I'd like to see; an official iPad version and the option to select and add multiple torrents to the task list all at once. The latter can be part of the sponsored version if need be.

Hello! Thank you for your rating, feedback, and suggestions! We have considered creating a native iPad app, but it’s not our priority at the moment. We still have a few features to implement, such as RSS, interactive widgets and a couple of other interesting ones. Developing an iPad app, especially one that goes beyond just scaling the iPhone interface to fit the iPad screen, would require significant time and depends on financial support from users. However, it seems that the free version meets the needs of most users, so we don’t have a specific timeline for when an iPad version might be available.
Regarding starting of multiple downloads at once - you can add a text file with up to 50 URL's in it as a file. Each URL needs to be on a new line. Just start download with opening this file (File Selection option should be disabled). Starting from version 2.5.0 you can share this file to NAS Download Manager app directly from the Files app.
Works perfectly
The color scheme is a bit unusual, but the application functions perfectly.

Works great except no search feature
This app works a lot faster and better than another paid for similar app. My only gripe with this app is you can’t search for torrents. You can paste download links but that requires several extra steps outside the app.

A free app that performs better than its paid counterparts certainly deserves a 2 star rating, am I reading you right? Well thanks for the feedback 🤔
P.S. In version 2.4.0 we've added the search and made searching super easy! You can use filters and even switch search engines on or off right in the app!
