Nassau Public Libraries Mobile 4+

I *was* very happy with this app. The ability to search the catalog, request books from other libraries, check on my holds and due dates and do renewals is all very helpful. I would give 5 stars - but you have made it so I have to log in with my 14 digit library card number & pin every time I open the app. The app is on my phone - no one else uses it. I used to only need to put in the account # if I went on LILink to do a broader search. I find this really frustrating. Can’t you store my account number in the app and just ask for my pin? 4 digits I can remember. 14 - no way. Please fix this. Thank you.

This App was perfect!! Now it no longer stores my library number so every time I want to check and renew my items (I have two children and between the three of us I easily have 20+ assorted books, DVDs and audio/book combos out at once) I have to type
in my 14 digit login. It's worked perfectly for two years; I entered my login info one time and never had to re-enter it. Please fix this. I use this app all the time and without it I'd definitely owe lots in fines and subsequently use the library less. Thank you!

I had a lot of trouble when the app was updated. Glad to see it works now. I’d like to see the checkout list sorted by due date. It’s a pain to have to scroll through a long list of books to see which ones are coming due shortly. Also, with the books on hold. If they are available for pickup, they should move to the top of your list. I end up going to the library website for both of those features and don’t bother with the app. Please fix these features.
