Unique Approach

I’m a pretty experienced Spanish learner, but I’m really enjoying this app as a way to practice conversational skills on my own. With Natulang, I’m learning new vocabulary and solidifying vocabulary that has felt tricky to me for a long time. Plus, the app helps me string together phrases in a very natural way, so suddenly I’m forming complex sentences quickly without even realizing it.

The approach is simple— almost rote— but it doesn’t FEEL rote most of the time, and I can feel concepts “sticking” in my brain in a way I haven’t experienced with other language apps. Not a replacement for one-on-one instruction or conversation, of course, but this app is a great tool to have in my kit.

Thank you for the review. I created the app primarily for myself and tried to replicate the method I personally use to learn languages. It's incredibly gratifying to hear that it works for others.

very very impressed

if you are into learning language you may have seen the audio lessons for LanguageTransfer recommended a lot. This app is very similar to that - it really really helps with practicing speaking the language and having conversations in Spanish. There are a few slip ups here and there (rare) with a few words but it’s quickly become my favorite way to study. I do 4 or 5 lessons a day because it’s so fun being able to actually have conversations out loud on the spot like this. I feel like i’m learning quickly.

Great app to practice

I love this app for learning Spanish. It seems like it uses spaced repetition in an effective way to allow you to memorize things naturally and conversationally.

A few things I would love to see:
1. A dedicated dictionary in app, like maybe tapping on words to get the translation/definition (if it isn’t shared in lesson) or an option to give up/skip to answer if you don’t know how to give the phrase the ai is asking for. Would be nice also to have a feature where you could select a verb and see conjugations to refresh memory.
2. I wish I could change the accent to central American pronunciation because I don’t speak “Spain” Spanish, but it this is a small complaint.
3. Would love to see Chinese in this app, I think it might lend itself well to the way you have made this app

Thank you for the great review.
1. The possibility to "skip to answer" is there. Just press the skip button next to play/pause.
2. We try to use different voices in the app and some of them are Mexican/US Spanish. Though yes, the main voice is Spain-Spanish.
3. I would love to make Chinese in the app and it's planed for the future, though it's complex, and I can't promise to add it soon.
