This App will continuously track your location!

I have the location settings set to only while using the app. If you go to another app it will still be tracking your location and lets you know by the blue box around the time. You know its your location as when you first close out of the app it shows you the location icon before flashing to the time. Most apps will stop when you go to another app, you have to physically close the app for it to stop tracking you. This will kill battery life and is collecting data on your location while your not using the app. They’re using a loophole to make your phone think you're still using the app so your location is still being tracked even when the app is in the background.

Due to Apple Store guidelines and cannabis regulations, cannabis ordering apps must verify that users are in a legal location, which requires location access while the app is active or running in the background. However, you can adjust your settings to "While Using the App" to limit location tracking, and simply close the app fully when you're done to stop any background tracking. We appreciate your understanding as we balance compliance, functionality, and user privacy.
