Ratings and Reviews
What the heck is up with player ratings?
Honestly, I don’t really have too many gripes with this game. 2k did an amazing job as usual but I do have one major gripe - the player ratings seem wildly inaccurate in comparison to console ratings, and also contract statuses are not up to date either in game.
As an example, let’s look at Zion Williamson, who on the console version, is rated as an 81. However, in the mobile version, Zion is currently rated as an 86. An even more egregious rating deferential can be found in Sekou Doumbouya, who on console has a 73 rating, but in the mobile version has an 85 overall rating. Not to mention that it seems that past players haven’t been updated in the slightest. Jamal Murray had a career year last year, yet his initial rating in the mobile version is a 74, and in console he has a 84 overall rating. I’d post links and snapshots to prove my point if I could.
Effectively, if 2k can run a data update to ensure that ratings in the mobile game match those on the console version, I’d be more than happy to give the game a 5 star rating, especially if they also update the contract status of all players while they’re at it.
NEED LOTS OF UPDATING
first of all this game definitley needs to update the ovr for all players especially defensively like most of the Goodyear characters on the game have like a mod 70 ovr defense rating. Next you need to get the pictures right for some players. Another thing is in the my career mode when you go to the screen before a game where you can change uniforms, the ovr for the team are out of wack you can have a 99 ovr team in off and have a 73 ovr defence and they be the hornets. Also that goes for the defence too why is the jazz at a 70 somethin ovr in defense when they have a two time defense player of the year. Come one 2k19 mobile was far better. Also y’all need to let us do two things in one off day like 2k19 for say I can go to practice then can have another option to do something else such as spend time with fans. Next is a major update is the hairstyle come on those aren’t even the player hairstyles in real life like why mike Conley got a low cut when he got dreads in real life and why Kwahid got corn roles but they stop on his scalp like they don’t come of his head like his hair not long enough. Plus y’all need to update the bucks big time we all know the bucks shouldn’t be 11 seed and they the bucks. Also why is thanesis ante. Bald head lol...this is a big time waste of money but I does get rid of the boredom every once in a while and last but not least please add some need hairstyle and tattoos y’all been having the same ones since 2k17
Good but some complaints
It’s overall a good game and I enjoy playing it, but idk if it’s just my game but when I play there is no one in the crowd so it looks like a scrimmage game, and also I scored 30 point in one of the first game of my career and only got 2 upgrade points which is annoying, and also some of the players ratings need to be changed, for example James harden is a 93 when he should be a 96 at least since he was the MVP last year and the runner up this year, and Russell Westbrook is a 96 when he should be lower than James harden so like a 94-95 Ish, but Chris Paul is a 94 which makes no sense since kyrie is only a 87, he is no way near a 96 overall he needs to be like a 87-89 maybe a 90 if the games being generous, and they need to make kyrie a higher overall and Devin booker a higher overall, also on the my player section it’s not counting my wins so it’s saying that my team is the worst team in the league but I haven’t lost a game yet, but other than these small thing that are kinda annoying, I’m enjoying playing the game and I will be playing it until the next game comes out
