Why bother?

Forget coming here for any kind of breaking news...or barely current news either.
In a word, stale. KESQ isn’t much better...
I think the app is just an afterthought, and no effort is put forth to make it a viable go-to source for any real news.
There was a multi agency fire in Cathedral City last night...12 Engines responding. Nothing about it on the app this morning. Last night at eleven pm, KESQ led with the story, with a reporter on scene...KMIR, oops sorry...NBC Palm Springs ... led with old news.. Same effort put forth on this app apparently..

While this valley news app exceeds the others, still the urgency of adding new items is lacking. I too often check for "news" in the morning and evening with nothing new reporting. It's almost as if this app does not have an assigned reporter, but gets secondary attention. I'm keeping it, but ...
