Great resource to prep for NCE

NCE Prep is a great study app to assist anyone reviewing for the exam. It has a variety of options to build a prep plan that works for you. You can customize your study settings for difficulty, set score and daily goals, and adjust accordingly as you progress through your prep. The app also allows you to clearly see your stats, and with the Premium setting you can take timed quizzes, get question feedback, and bookmark questions for later review. Overall an easy and convenient app to help you prepare for the NCE.

Okay but missing multiple things

It’s great to just sit and take test for studying. In that aspect, it’s perfect. However, the functionality of the app is pretty poor.

First off, there is no multidevice congruency. My subscription covers both iPad and cellphone apps but when I get on my iPad to study, it doesn’t have the same saved notes and previously missed questions that I would like to see from my cellphone.

Secondly, there is no notification option. I would like to set a schedule of notifications that remind me throughout the day to pause and take a short quiz. You can just set alarms on your phone but it would be nice to have the app itself alert you and be ready when you click the notification.

Third, other than clicking a quiz and rolling with it, there’s no other options for how to study or timed sessions. Like others, I study best when I use the pomodoro technique. If this app is being used for studying purposes, why not integrate one of the most popular ways of doing it?

Let us set timers and notifications. Then this app would easily be five stars. As is, it’s just lacks some of the major functions I would expect from this type of app.

To answer a few of your concerns, we are currently developing a customizable study notification feature that will allow you to change the frequency of your notifications. Currently we send a study reminder if you miss a streak day, but understand you would want a more granular option.

For device congruency, this was a decision we intentionally made unfortunately. For this to work, you would need to create a full profile (including email, passwords, username, etc.). We believe the ease of not having to create that outweighs shared analytics.

Finally, we would love to hear more about your idea of studying with timers. We currently use a question based goal method, but understand wanting a timed based method as well. Once again, we'd love to hear from you to explore this idea further. And thank you for taking the time to help us improve.

Amazing efficient tool for exam prep!

This app is a great tool for your study needs. App design makes such hard topic as counseling look like a breeze. I like how you can choose your difficulty level of questions, and navigate from easy to hard mode, improving your knowledge along the way.

App premium package covers all your basics for this complex exam, it lets you take time quizzes and see feedback for your answers.

I give it 5 stars, I wish there were more apps with such a convenient design!
